Canadian Senator Speaks in Cringey 'Gen Z' Language As She Proposes to Allow 16-Year-Olds to Vote

Two years ago Fidel Castro Jr. (aka Justine Trudeau) invoked Canada’s “Emergencies Act." As the elected Prime Minister of Canada, he and his cadre of jack-booted members of parliament required everyone involved in commerce to get a COVID-19 vaccine.

That the vaccine didn’t “vaccinate” was irrelevant to Junior. He cracked down on the Freedom Convoy and, as a result, his authoritarian government seized the assets of freedom-loving Canadians - including freezing bank accounts of truckers and even their supporters - and outright debanking.

Fidel Jr. was “allowed” to do his best impression of Cuba’s dead dictator because he was elected as Prime Minister of Canada. Trudeau has the support of parliament because his party controls the majority of seats and has the support of a few more. Those MPs were elected as well and because they were elected will own their seats until they are tossed out with yesterday’s trash, they will control Canada’s Parliament.

Under Junior’s leadership, Canada has enacted laws that delegitimize biological sex, and it has banned the private sale of guns. Canada it seems, doesn't send its best to Parliament.

So, what nonsense is Canada up to now? One of its members of Parliament has suggested that 16-year-olds should vote.

Here in America, we’ve had Congressmembers pushing for the same thing. Grace Meng represents Queens New York in the US House. She is leading that charge to give 16-year-olds the right to vote. Meng is the daughter of convicted felon Jimmy Meng. Mr. Meng was caught in a bribery scheme. Papa Meng told a tax fraudster to stick $80,000 in cash in a basket of fruit so that Meng could bribe state Assistant District Attorneys.

With the bribe money, Meng promised to try to get the tax fraudster a reduced sentence. Instead of a fruit basket of cash Meng got busted by the Feds. Meng faced 20 years in federal prison and $250,000. But Jimmy got 1 month. His name wasn’t Biden, so why such a sweetheart deal? Loretta Lynch was the AG and Jimmy was a Democrat pol, so sweetheart deal for Jimmy.

Grace Meng said of giving 16-year-olds the vote

"Our young people, including 16- and 17-year-olds, continue to fight and advocate for so many issues that they are passionate about from gun safety to the climate crisis," she said. "They have been tremendously engaged on policies affecting their lives and their futures."

A 16-year-old brain isn’t close to being developed. No offense to the rare smart kid, but 90 percent of them present as imbeciles. Sure, they can name 50 Taylor Swift songs, but I am confident that most couldn’t name 5 presidents. 16-year-olds don’t even vote for homecoming queen. I (kinda) remember being 16. I wasn’t interested in national politics. Heck, I wasn’t interested in school politics. I cared about the size of the morning surf swell and if my girlfriend would show up to watch me play football on Friday night.

Even in Canada, giving a 16-year-old the right to vote, is a monumentally stupid idea. So, of course, a Canadian Senator is pushing the idea because not enough imbeciles and ill-informed people are voting already.

Canadian Senator Bernadette Clement has proposed giving 16-year-olds the vote. She didn’t just propose legislation in English (as bad as that might have been), she did it using “Gen Z” slang. She said

“Now bear with me as I go into my last paragraph here, because I had this part translated into Gen Z for us. Honourable fam, waiting to vote until 18 is a big yikes and mad shuggy, but S201 hits different. Today's youth slays and stays bussing.

"That's why we got to give them a chance to clap back. If not, how will we be able to say that they ate that up? No cap, this bill slaps and is electoral glow up.

I am its number one stan for real. Thank you, Niawa.”

This reminds me of the errant middle-aged overweight drunk dude at a wedding trying to breakdance with the “kids.” This is Canada’s version of Liz Warren with her “hip” talk to the “yutes” and drinking "brews" like a Boston townie. It’s bad enough that Clement spoke in slang, but her fellow Senators clapped to her pandering nonsense. Yeah, Canada is lost.

In Canada, it apparently would just take a bill to allow High School juniors to vote. Thankfully in America, it would take an Amendment to the Constitution.

I loved going to Canada, but Canada is a lost cause. For good measure, I’ll be rooting for the Florida Panthers to beat The Edmonton Oilers for the Stanley Cup. Canada hasn’t won a Stanley Cup in 30 years. Let’s make it 31.
