Arizonans headed to the polls Tuesday in the nation's only July primary. Polls close at 7 PM local time, with live results starting to roll out around 8 PM local time. You can keep up with them here.
Governor
Democratic incumbent Gov. Katie Hobbs is running unopposed in her primary, and there are four candidates seeking the Republican nomination. Rep. Andy Biggs (AZ-05), who has been endorsed by President Donald Trump, is the overwhelming frontrunner; Rep. David Schweikert (AZ-01) is his most formidable opponent.
Attorney General
Two Republicans, Senior Air Force and private sector attorney Rodney Glassman and Arizona Senate President Warren Petersen, are battling for the opportunity to face incumbent Kris Mayes in November.
Secretary of State
Democrat incumbent Adrian Fontes is running unopposed in his primary, and will face either Rep. Alexander Kolodin or former Arizona Republican Party Chair Gina Swoboda.
U.S. House
There are a few races of note. In District 1, incumbent Republican David Schweikert is running for governor. Of three candidates on the ballot to succeed him, state Rep. Joseph Chaplik and former Arizona Cardinals kicker Jay Feely (who was endorsed by President Trump) are the strongest candidates.
District 5 incumbent Republican Andy Biggs is running for governor, leaving that seat open. Trump-endorsed former Sheriff Mark Lamb is opposed by businessman Daniel Keenan.
