Off-Duty ICE Agents Save a Boy's Life; So Much for the Terrorized Citizens and ICE Gestapo Narrative

A four-year-old boy in Plymouth, Minnesota, received a second chance at life, thanks to the quick action of two off-duty Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. You read that right. Last Friday, two agents were enjoying their dinner at a hotel when a woman in a desperate state begged for their assistance. Her son had dived into the hotel pool and was under the water for more than five minutes before being pulled out. The agents helped take control of the scene, administered CPR to bring the boy back from the brink of death, and called for emergency services. The Plymouth Police arrived in minutes and took over emergency measures, bringing the boy back to life. Had the ICE agents not been there and available, this little one would have been gone from this life for good.

So much for the Minnesota residents terrorized by ICE and agents acting like the Gestapo.

Today, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recognizes the extraordinary heroic action of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents for saving the life of a four-year old boy who had fallen into a hotel pool and drowned.

On February 20, off-duty ICE law enforcement agents were dining at a restaurant in Plymouth, Minnesota, when they were approached by a panicked woman seeking assistance for a four-year-old child who was unresponsive from drowning in a hotel swimming pool.

The agents immediately responded, performing CPR for several minutes. Local police and Emergency Medical Services arrived shortly thereafter and transported the child to a local medical center for further medical care. Thanks to this lifesaving care and quick action, the child regained consciousness and is now alert.

The Plymouth Police Department sent a letter of commendation to DHS, thanking the agents for their act of heroism and professionalism. Another leftist narrative thrown under the bus.

They also received a huge attaboy from Deputy Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis.

I want to take a moment to commend the heroism and swift action taken by these agents to save the life of a sweet, innocent child. If our agents had not been there and stepped up, this would have been a tragic outcome. Because of their training, these two agents were able to save a life. Our agents are the best of the best. Every single day they put their lives on the line to save American lives. President Trump and Secretary Noem will always stand with our law enforcement. If you see a law enforcement officer today, thank them for their service.

Despite DHS bringing Operation Metro Surge in Minnesota to a close, drawing down agents by the day, legacy media outlets are still running stories about ICE and their "stealth" tactics, and citizens being "disappeared" without due process. This incident shows the true character of the agents who work for immigration enforcement, but the immigration activists and the press prefer their made-up cartoon villains. Thanks to these brave men, not only are the streets of Minnesota safer, but a mother has her child back.

It's good to see them getting the respect that they deserve.

Deputy Assistant Secretary Bis said as much.

DHS reaffirms that our law enforcement deserves honor, respect, and support for their service to our nation. Their commitment reflects the highest ideals of duty and sacrifice, and their bravery ensures Americans live in safer, more secure communities.
