Trump Brings National Attention to Domestic Terrorism With a 'Roundtable on Antifa' at WH

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump, along with select members of his cabinet, hosted independent journalists for a "Roundtable on Antifa" at the White House. These journalists, many who have reported on Antifa's terrorist activities for over a decade, shared their experiences from their efforts to honestly cover Antifa's terrorism tactics, including threats, physical assaults, theft, and legal attacks.

The roundtable of journalists included Andy Ngo, who has extensively covered Antifa in Seattle, Oregon, and around the world. The Blaze journalist and Townhall alum Julio Rosas; Human Events editor Jack Posobiec; independent journalist Nick Sortor, who was arrested by Portland Police for defending himself against an Antifa attack; The Post Millennial's Katie Daviscourt, who was assaulted by Antifa in Portland; TPUSA's Savannah Hernandez; Today in America journalist Cam Higby; Discovery Institute Senior Journalism Fellow Jonathan Choe; YouTube influencer James Klug; and, independent videographer Nick Shirley.

Chelly Bouferrache aka HoneyBadger Mom, was oddly absent from the roundtable. Bouferrache has covered Antifa in Portland since 2017, and has borne the physical, mental, and legal brunt of their attacks in order to expose this organization and the destruction it has wrought.

Because of her many years of Portland on-the-ground coverage and the price she has paid because of it, her seat at the table should have been assured. Whatever the reason for excluding her, Bouferrache is committed to continue in her work.

3 vicious assaults. Bear sprayed. Attempted robbery several times. Menacing. Harassment. Perpetrators identified. No arrests. A lawsuit. Blamed by police for my own assaults. Targeted by a sitting senator and legacy media because I reported on this story. I’m not stopping anytime soon.

Brandi Kruse, who quit her legacy media job to do independent journalism and political analysis, thanked President Trump for declaring Antifa a terrorist organization, which she alleged has probably saved lives.

WATCH:

President Trump called left-wing violence an epidemic and made this pledge to the journalists: "We're going to be far more threatening to them than they ever were with us; and that includes the people that fund them."

Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, who visited Portland on Tuesday, spoke to the reality of the threats being made to law enforcement and journalists who work to expose the leftists violence and networks.

WATCH:

"Let’s not make any mistake, these individuals do not just want to threaten our law enforcement officers, threaten our journalists, and the citizens of this country - they want to kill them. Their agenda is to destroy the American people and our way of life and this President is standing in their way." @Sec_Noem

President Trump and Secretary Noem will NEVER surrender America to criminal illegal aliens and the Antifa domestic terrorists.

Karoline Leavitt Drops Brutal Message for Reporters in Denial About Portland Riots

FBI Director Kash Patel praised the president for allowing his cabinet to take a "whole of government approach to go after criminals absolutely everywhere, not just outside of this country, but within this country. And that takes a whole of government approach."

National security cabinet members and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent are assisting Patel in mapping out the networks, which Patel called the "diseased temple of corruption" that "have been built over decades."

What we are doing at the FBI is simple: it doesn't require rocket science. We are following the money. Money never lies. And that's what it is going to bring down this network of organized criminal thugs, gang bangers, and yes, domestic terrorists, because that's what they are. They are harming everyday citizens in every single one of our communities.

Patel also lauded the independent journalists doing the tough and dangerous work of exposing Antifa and its networks.

And the folks you see here on the right and left, they are some of the bravest men and women we have today. They're reporting the stories live time because the mainstream media won't cover it. They're putting their lives on the line, their standing up for the flag, the least we can do is stand up for them. So, you have my thanks.

In mid-September, Andy Ngo was interviewed by the Center for American Liberty, where he explained the daunting task the Trump administration has ahead of them in exposing the who, where, and how leftwing terrorists like Antifa are funded. It is the United States legal system and free speech protections that limit addressing leftwing terrorism based on ideology alone.

However, tools such as federal financial and racketeering precedents: RICO, conspiracy charges, and the like, could be employed to bring these organizations to heel. Hence, why Patel and Bessent are mapping the networks. These payments are spread across multiple payment means (including GoFundMe and Venmo), non-profit organizations, and have wide and international reach.

Antifa International, an antifascist cohort helping far-left militants connect to local antifa cells or operate their own, is one of the international networks providing material support to antifa operatives in the United States by way of its bail fund.

The International Anti-Fascist Defense Fund, a project of Antifa International, effectively serving as its funding arm, pays for the legal defense of arrested antifascists “anywhere in the world,” including the U.S.

For instance, Antifa International allocated $5,000 to the legal defense fund of the Texas antifa cell whose suspected members are charged with attempted murder, terrorism, and organized crime for allegedly attacking an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility on July 4.

“The stakes could not be higher for our friends,” reads a blog post by Antifa International about the slew of charges carrying a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.

The Andy Ngo interview with the Center for American Liberty is less than 30 minutes and worth the time viewing.
