The effort to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas may be stalled for the moment, but the inquiry into President Joe Biden is still rolling forward. In the latest development, it was reported that Tony Bobulinski, a former business associate of Hunter Biden, the president’s son, is slated to testify before Congress in the near future.

Bobulinski’s testimony is expected to shed more light on the extent to which President Biden was involved in his son’s foreign business dealings, according to a Fox News exclusive.

Tony Bobulinski, a former business associate of Hunter Biden, is expected to testify behind closed doors on Capitol Hill next week as part of the House impeachment inquiry against President Biden, Fox News Digital has learned.

A source familiar with the planning told Fox News Digital that Bobulinski will appear on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. for his transcribed interview before both the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees.

The source said his interview is expected to last eight hours.

Bobulinski, who worked with Hunter Biden to create the joint-venture SinoHawk Holdings with Chinese energy company CEFC, said he met with Joe Biden in 2017.

Bobulinski, in December, demanded Biden "stop lying" about that meeting and called on him to "correct the record."

"Why is Joe Biden blatantly lying to the American people and the world by claiming that he did not meet with me face to face?" Bobulinski told Fox News Digital in a statement. "He should call his son Hunter and brother Jim as they can remind him of the facts. The American people deserve the truth!"

Bobulinski’s association with the Biden family puts him in a unique position to provide firsthand accounts of how the Bidens’ business operations functioned. Indeed, it appears the Bidens are concerned about their former business associate. In November, Hunter called on the Justice Department to investigate Bobulinski for allegedly lying to federal investigators.

Now, Hunter Biden is pushing the Justice Department to investigate Bobulinski, amid claims that Bobulinski lied to federal investigators about his relationship with the Biden family.

President Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden is urging the Justice Department to investigate a former business associate named Tony Bobulinski over claims that he lied to federal investigators during an interview in the weeks leading up to the 2020 presidential election, according to a criminal referral letter obtained by ABC News.

Attorneys for Hunter Biden wrote last month to Matthew Graves, the U.S. Attorney in Washington, D.C., accusing Bobulinski of deliberately mischaracterizing his relationship with the Biden family "for the sake of maligning the character and reputation of [Hunter] Biden and his family, and to boost his own sense of self-worth."

Bobulinski, a retired Naval officer and self-described global businessman, came forward in October 2020 with allegations that the Bidens had lied to the public about the nature of then-candidate Joe Biden's involvement in his son's proposed overseas business ventures -- a claim promoted at the time by former President Donald Trump and his allies.

According to Abbe Lowell, a lawyer for Hunter Biden, Bobulinski repeatedly misled investigators about his contacts with the Biden family and the extent to which Joe Biden stood to benefit from proposed foreign business ventures during a voluntary interview at a FBI field office in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 23, 2020.

The potential significance of Bobulinski’s testimony centers not only on the details he might reveal but also on their implications for Biden’s presidency. His claims that he met with Biden in 2017 challenge the narrative put out by the president and his team regarding his involvement with Hunter’s business operations.

Bobulinski’s allegations against the Biden family have turned him into a potentially pivotal figure in this saga. His recollection of meetings involving members of the family and its conversations about a joint venture with a Chinese firm further complicates the matter – especially when it comes to the reference about a 10 percent cut for “the big guy,” believed to be President Biden.
