It'd be wrong to call what's happening between America and the Democrats a traditional war, but war is being waged.
I was reading a recent report that attacks on ICE are up by 500 percent, and I'm not at all surprised. As I've written previously, that's all part of the plan. Violence is very useful to the left and has a ton of benefits associated with it.
As I noted earlier this month, violence is a narrative creation machine that, when framed properly, can make those assaulting and destroying seem like freedom fighters and the police trying to keep the peace as oppressive foot soldiers of a dictatorial regime. It also serves a double purpose of intimidating those around them into compliance, so you get a rallying cry from the media and silence from those actually being affected.

This violence over deporting illegal aliens, especially violent criminals, is happening at the encouragement of the left, which is trying to make this an issue based on xenophobia, racism, and heartlessness.
But I think we all know what this is really about. If you know anything about Democrats at all, you know they ultimately care about one thing, and that's power. If the illegal immigrants actually posed any real threat to it, they would've helped Republicans shove them out the door years ago, and our border would be one of the most secure in the world.
But illegal immigrants do actually help Democrats, at least indirectly.
When the census is taken, it doesn't take into account whether a person is a legal voter or not; it focuses solely on the population of the given area. This can allow redrawing of districts and seat allocation.
You can probably see where this is going.
With more people living in an area, that place could not only get more federal funds, but it could also open up more House seats. If you've ever wondered why Democrats are so staunch about sanctuary cities, it's not because they're virtuous or willing to help the oppressed. It attracts illegal immigrants, filling out the population, allowing for redrawing of district lines, and potentially giving them a little more power in Washington as these districts vote blue.
It's a long-game strategy, but the census is done every ten years, with the next one coming up in 2030. Democrats wanted the illegals they were practically shooing in to saturate parts of America, especially urban areas, giving these Democrat-heavy locations more weight.
As the New York Post reported during the 2024 election, Musk brought this very thing up:
“More presidential and House of Representatives electoral votes will be assigned to the new illegals Biden has let in than the population of 40 US states,” Musk wrote. “Let that sink in.”
“Increasing illegals boosts Dem voting power, causing them to recruit even more! If Dems win President, House & Senate (with enough seats to overcome filibuster), they’ll grant citizenship to all illegals & America will become a permanent one-party deep socialist state,” Musk added in a follow-up post in response to a reply noting the dynamic incentivizes Democrats to permit illegal immigration.
So while voting illegally is an issue, illegal immigrants don't even have to vote to be a significant problem. They just have to be here, and our federal system will do the rest.
So, you're seeing what is effectively a massive response from the Democrat Party, sometimes even to the point where they actively oppose ICE in person. This isn't because they're being noble; this is because they want to maintain power and keep their jobs.
Ginning up riots that feature assaults on police and civilians, destruction of property, protests, virtue signaling, trying to gain access to ICE facilities, traveling to El Salvador to check on the status of a gang leader — all of it is simply Democrats trying to keep illegal immigrants in the country and continuing to enter so that in near future, they can watch as the census redraws maps in a way that benefits them and keeps them in power for ages.
As Trump continues to deport these illegals, Democrat power bleeds out. All this violence and showmanship of outrage is raging against the dying of the light.
And all of this rage ends when it becomes clear that illegal immigration is not going to benefit the Democrats anymore, otherwise, the moment they're given any power they will fling the doors wide open and allow that element to reenter the country to the detriment of America, and the benefit of the Democrat Party.
