"Everyone I don't like is Hitler" is a pretty funny meme born from a serious habit of Democrats going out of their way to accuse anyone and everyone that opposes them of being the next contestant in leader of the tiny mustache brigade.
As memes do, this particular one highlights an issue that typically happens on the left where they go to the most extreme example of evil the moment they feel the need to make a comparison to win an argument.
A lot of people think it's born out of an emotionally-led response on the part of the leftist making the claim, and there's definitely some truth to that. Studies have shown that leftists are emotion-first thinkers, and that even grown, fully-matured people will make some very dumb and irrational decisions when guided by leftism.

The Tesla attacks are a good example of this. Leftists began declaring Elon Musk was a Nazi, even going so far as to accuse him of making a Nazi salute during a rally, and soon the firebombing and keying of Tesla cars began.
But notice the pattern.
It starts at the top when Democrats and leftist influencers begin hinting or suggesting someone or something has a relationship to Nazism or Fascism and the tru believers just do the rest.
Yesterday it was Musk, today it's ICE.
Boston's Mayor Michelle Wu made the comment that she doesn't "know of any police department that routinely wears masks. We know that there are other groups that routinely wear masks. NSC-131 routinely wears masks," a comment that the DHS has pushed back on.
๐จ SHOCKING: Boston Mayor Michelle Wu compares ICE agents to neo-Nazis:

NSC-131 is a neo-Nazi group.
The DHS responded on a post on X, coming down on the mayor for using that kind of language, and dropped an interesting stat in the process:
Mayor Wu comparing ICE agents to neo-Nazis is SICKENING.
When our heroic law enforcement officers conduct operations, they clearly identify themselves as law enforcement while wearing masks to protect themselves from being targeted by known and suspected gang members, murders, and rapists.
Attacks and demonization of our brave law enforcement is WRONG. ICE officers are now facing a 413% increase in assaults.

The over 400 percent increase in assaults isn't an unfortunate byproduct of these accusations from Democrats...
... it's the point.
Democrats are well aware that violence can create situations where things go their way. If assaults are ongoing, ICE will have to be more on guard, and with increasing tensions comes greater violence and, eventually, mistakes.
These mistakes can be used for PR purposes, painting ICE as the gestapo they've been accusing it is, thus turning public opinion, which can then be used to gain power.
Meanwhile, they can it back and say things like "I never said we should resort to violence" while never denouncing the violence that happens.
They've done this many, many times. You saw it a lot during the Black Lives Matter riots when people were assaulted and property was destroyed, and the Democrats attempted to write it off as isolated incidents within a peaceful movement. It wasn't a bug, it was a feature, and it was programmed in by Democrats.
It doesn't take much. Just insinuate a group of people are the worst of the worst, and they can rely on their followers to do the rest.
This is how the left is able to commit violence without taking the blame for it. It's decentralized. The dirty work can be carried out by what Democrats refer to as an "idea," while the politicians and activists continue to claim the moral high ground by keeping their hands (technically) clean.
You can't convince me Wu doesn't know what she's doing by comparing ICE to Nazis, simply for wearing face masks while they do very legal, very necessary work.
