As RedState reported on Monday, anti-Israel rioters in New York decided to deface a WW1 memorial statue and burn the American flag in front of it.

If people had any sympathy for this movement, it was lost here for many. The outcry was so large that apparently, the NYPD couldn't ignore it. 

According to Fox News, the NYPD is now on the hunt for anyone who defaced the statute:

NYPD Deputy Commissioner, Operations Kaz Daughtry called the desecration "unacceptable behavior that will not be tolerated." 

"I want to assure you that the NYPD, backed by our finest detectives, is actively investigating this heinous crime. We will leave no stone unturned until the perpetrators are brought to justice," Daughtry said. 

"Vandalizing a memorial, a symbol of remembrance and honor, is not only an act of criminal mischief but also a disrespect to the sacrifices of those who served our country," he continued. 

"The NYPD is known for its exceptional investigative abilities, and this case will be no exception. We are committed to upholding the law and ensuring that justice prevails. Let this serve as a warning to anyone who dares to deface our city's landmarks – there will be consequences." 

As Fox News reported, clashes between the anti-Israel rioters and police are heating up. 

It would appear that some of the rioters are dead-set on confrontation with police. As you can see in this video, they're taunting the police and calling them names.

If this continues, we'll likely see something very similar to the Black Lives Matter riots. 

It is, after all, riot season. With the 2024 election coming up, the Democrats are in need of a galvanizing event that will divide the American people so they can conquer. The issue is that these anti-Israel protesters aren't doing themselves or the Democrat Party any favors. 

Neither their behavior nor their cause is something much of America can get behind.
