Nancy Pelosi Bailed on a Scantly Attended Anti-GOP Tax Bill Protest for Fear of Her Position Being Unpopular

What was supposed to be the demonstration of the oncoming reckoning Republicans would face for their passage of the tax bill lead by Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi ended up being an embarrassing get-together that Pelosi didn’t want to be seen with.

Wednesday night, over 300 people were supposed to attend an anti-tax bill protest. Pelosi was supposed to show up and lead the angry mob into cheers, boos, and outrage driven chants that would have been used by the media as a sure fire example of just how much the people hate the GOP and their tax plan.

But as MSNBC was troubled to find out, only a handful of people showed up, and the outrage was at lukewarm levels. Pelosi, most likely realizing that her rage against the GOP’s plan wasn’t as popular as she thought, decided just not to show up, and left her activists hanging.

“This particular protest was supposed to start at three, it was supposed to feature Nancy Pelosi, and it’s supposed to have hundreds of people, and none of those things are going to end up being true,” said an MSNBC reporter who was sent to cover the rally.

Pelosi had been screeching from the summit of Mt. Bullcrap that the GOP tax bill would leave the U.S. with dead and dying in the streets, but with companies now gifting their workers with bonuses, wage hikes, and investments all thanks to the GOP tax bill, Pelosi is quickly shrinking into the shadows.

In fact, she’s taking the Dems with her. Pelosi has announced that the Democrats, for all their foot stomping, won’t raise any repeal motions, or attempt to combat the Republican’s achievement anytime in the near future.
