After FBI Reveals Evidence of ICE Killer's Motive, Left-Wingers Descend Into Gross Cope

As RedState reported, a shooter opened fire on an ICE facility in Dallas early Wednesday morning, leaving two people dead and one critically wounded. Joshua Jahn, who has been identified as the killer, then committed suicide in his sniper hide, which was located on an adjacent rooftop.

The two victims who perished were detainees at the facility who were sitting in a van parked outside the exterior sally port. In the aftermath of the murders, officials revealed that anti-ICE messages had been scrawled on the shell cases. That advertising of political ideology on ammunition has become a hallmark of left-wing shooters over the last few years, most recently with the assassin who killed Charlie Kirk.

Once again, the motive does not appear to be much of a mystery here. A person shot up an ICE facility in the midst of intense anti-ICE rhetoric from both the press and Democratic Party politicians. It would make no sense for a right-winger to be behind this attack, even if we didn't have the shell casings with the messages. That reality has caused the left to sink into disgusting levels of cope, as they desperately try to deflect from yet more violence committed by ideological allies.

Let's address this, because on the surface, the fact that detainees were shot does seem like an oddity if the plan was to attack ICE agents. Of course, it only seems that way when you fail to do any critical analysis of what occurred.

Here's what we know. The shooter had staged himself on a rooftop several hundred yards away, looking down on the area. We also know that it was dark at the time of the shooting. Another variable involves the gun, which reportedly may not have even had a scope on it. Lastly, the shots were fired through the roof and tinted windows of two government vans.

In other words, there was essentially no way for the shooter to identify his targets in that scenario. He likely thought the van was hauling ICE agents when he opened fire. So, this idea that because detainees and not agents were killed, the shooter couldn't have been targeting ICE agents is nonsensical and flies in the face of the evidence we have. Yet, I'm seeing a slew of left-wing "influencers" suggest some conspiracy is afoot.

Then you have mental jiu-jitsu like this happening over on Bluesky.

You see, it's your fault for voting to enforce immigration laws that left-wingers keep murdering people. All that inciting rhetoric from Democrats attacking ICE, accusing them of being the "Gestapo" and "fascists," didn't cause this. No, it was Republicans who caused it.

Naturally, MNSBC didn't disappoint either. In an obvious attempt to wink and nod that the shooter might have been right-wing but was only pretending to be left-wing, an analyst had this to say.

He calls the writing of words on shell casings "strange" when it comes to left-wing shooters. Instead of noting that both Luigi Mangione and Tyler Robinson did the same thing, the analyst reaches back six years to a mass shooting that occurred in another country to try to shove his narrative into place.

What's happening here is obvious. Democrats have coddled their radical base while feeding it a steady diet of extremist language comparing law enforcement (and Republicans in general) to nazis. After a while, some of that crazed base is going to believe it and take action. It's simply undeniable that the left has a serious problem with political violence. No amount of "both sides" equivocations and spinning stupid conspiracy theories is going to change that.
