WATCH: Scott Jennings Sends CNN Panel Off the Deep End After He Brings Up Doug Emhoff Abuse Scandal

Remember when Democrats used to shout "Believe all women" from the rooftops? From social media hashtags to Supreme Court hearings, there was a period where you couldn't escape the political push of the "Me Too" movement. How's that going these days?

Well, the current husband of the Democratic Party presidential nominee has been credibly accused by three corroborating witnesses of slapping his ex-girlfriend in public, and the press won't touch the story. So much for believing all women, I guess. But it's not just that the press won't report on the issue or ask questions about it. They won't even allow others to mention it.

Enter Scott Jennings, who has a special skill for sending various CNN panels into apoplectic shock. On Wednesday, he did it again after bringing up the questions surrounding Emhoff's past.

JENNINGS: I got to tell you, this campaign, this, so everything that's said about Donald Trump and his treatment of women, and the gender gap in this campaign, this rapper, who I fully admit has sold a lot of records, if you've read some of the things that he's said about the promotion of domestic violence against women.

SELLERS: No, no, no, no, he said if you're famous, you can grab them by the...

JENNINGS: Bakari, I listened to your entire filibuster, if you could just give me 13 seconds.

SELLERS: I give you 12 because he said grab them by the mmm, mmm, mmm.

JENNINGS: And so, when you think about the things he has said in order to sell those records, and you also consider some of the questions that are swirling around Harris' own husband in this regard.

(Crosstalk and yelling)

SELLERS: Oh my God. Okay, you don't even give 12 seconds.

PHILLIP: Wait a second...

JENNINGS: I'm just saying...

SELLERS: I'm not gone let you go to the far side of BS.

PHILLIP: Alright, I think, Scott, you can't...hey, hey, hey...

SELLERS: I can't represent you in the defamation case.

PHILLIP: We're gonna stop here for a second, alright.

The longer this campaign drags on, the more you should realize that the Democrats have nothing left. They've used every ounce of viable material in existence against Donald Trump, and all they can do at this point is repeat the same things over and over. What Sellers is referring to came to light during the 2016 election. It is not even a factor in 2024.

As to Jennings bringing up Emhoff's domestic abuse scandal (the initial discussion was about Harris appearing with rapper Eminem), that is completely fair game and it has not been dealt with at all by the press. If CNN were a real news network, they'd have had investigative reporters looking into the issue months ago. Instead, they are choosing to actively black out the story.

Which brings me to Abby Phillip. When she says, "Scott, you can't," I couldn't help but think of how incredibly hypocritical that was of her given CNN's penchant for spreading literally anything salacious about literally any Republican.

The idea that Emhoff's issues are off-limits is nothing but partisan nonsense. Trump has certainly never gotten such treatment, and Sellers is an absolute clown for trying to filibuster instead of addressing what is a very serious story. Keep in mind, that he and others in the press are currently running with an obviously made-up, anonymously sourced claim about Trump, but having three people vouch for what Emhoff did isn't enough to even cover the allegation? That's garbage.
