Former First Lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been trying to get attention lately, and it hasn’t been going well. For the Democrats, she’s the guest who wouldn’t leave — long after the lights have been turned down.
She got ratioed into next month when she tried to dunk on President Trump for holding a UFC event and building a White House ballroom. The internet doesn’t forget, and readers quickly reminded her that juvenile Clinton administration delinquents vandalized the People’s House as they were making ready for the Bush team. Oh, and they had to return furniture because… it wasn’t theirs, it was ours.
She bashed the president in another tweet, trying to be cute by saying it’s not his house, “It's our house.” Commenters were again Johnny on the spot, reminiscing over how Bill sullied the Oval Office with cigars and interns. Enough said.
You’d think she’d learn her lesson, but maybe she likes getting mercilessly ridiculed; who knows. In any case, there she was, yet again, showing off her hypocrisy and lack of self-awareness as she prattled on about the man that virtually every Democrat told us was fit and able to serve a second four-year term. As we knew then, but has become even clearer over time, the whole narrative was utter malarkey:
Hillary Clinton said former President Joe Biden made a “terrible mistake” by running for reelection in 2024, arguing another Democratic nominee would have defeated President Trump had the party held a competitive primary.

Hillary Clinton said former President Joe Biden made a “terrible mistake” by running for reelection in 2024, arguing another Democratic nominee would have defeated President Trump had the party held a competitive primary.
“He made a terrible mistake for himself, his legacy and for the country,” Clinton said. “... I think it was a terrible miscalculation on the part of President Biden.”
Boy, there must be tire tracks across the backs of Biden and Kamala Harris, because she just threw them both under the bus, with prejudice.
Yes, Joe made a mistake, and so did your party, Mrs. Clinton — but I wouldn’t actually call it a “mistake.” I could call it a giant, corrupt gaslighting operation at the top levels of power. House Speaker Mike Johnson (LA-04) has the receipts:
A year ago today, President Biden’s disastrous debate performance ended his re-election campaign and exposed the largest political cover-up in U.S. history.

A year ago today, President Biden’s disastrous debate performance ended his re-election campaign and exposed the largest political cover-up in U.S. history.
As House Republicans investigate the scandal to bring accountability, the American people should never forget how far Democrats and the media went to hide the truth about the mental decline of the man holding the most powerful position on earth. Here is just a small sample of the receipts.

Oh, and Mrs. Clinton: does that mean your husband participated in this massive “mistake?” Because he certainly didn’t express concerns about Ole Joe’s abilities when speaking to ABC’s “The View” in June 2025 (after the election): "But all I can say is whenever I was around him, his mind was clear, his judgment was good and he was on top of his brief."
You're still peddling that garbage, Bill? Shameless.
Unlike his wife, he wasn’t interested in introspection or looking into the massive deception. "All I know is I think we should think less about that, more about the future," he said.
Hillary also fantasized about what could have been had Biden announced earlier that he would not run for reelection. That would have given the Democrats time to find the right candidate and set up a winning campaign. Instead, they threw up former Vice President Kamala Harris, who promptly got annihilated at the polls.
“And very sadly, I believe whoever emerged from that contest, whether it was a vice president, or a governor, or a senator, or anybody else, would have beaten Donald Trump,” Clinton continued.
My question is, why would you think that? In 2016, you had the backing of virtually the entire mainstream media and academic world, a massive war chest, and the endorsements of two previous presidents, Barack Obama and, of course, Bill Clinton. And yet… You got your hat handed to you.
Maybe she should try for a third bite at the apple in '28. I’m guessing things would turn out just like her first two attempts, but it sure would be fun to write about. She just can’t seem to stop giving us material.
Alternatively, she could do Hotels.com commercials.
Editor’s Note: We should be thrilled each and every day that Joe Biden is back home on the beach in Delaware and Kamala is wandering around somewhere in California.
