Only hours after celebrating his 80th birthday and America’s 250th by hosting a UFC cagefight on the White House South Lawn, President Trump arrived in France Monday to attend the G7 summit.

“Everything is very nice,” he said simply upon arrival.

But things quickly turned serious as POTUS met with his French counterpart, President Emmanuel Macron. He said oil prices are already plummeting following the announcement of the U.S.-Iran peace deal Sunday:

Trump made the statement while sitting with French President Emmanuel Macron at the G7 Summit in Geneva, adding that the Strait of Hormuz would be fully open in the coming days.

"I think a lot of great things are going to happen in the Middle East right now. And very importantly, the oil is plummeting down and the stock market is shooting up like a rocket today, like record kind of numbers. And the oil is taking its biggest plunge," Trump said.

The president went on to confirm that the full text of the memorandum of understanding with Iran will be released after it is formally signed on Friday.

Trump says he may or may not attend the signing ceremony.

BREAKING: Trump Announces Peace Deal With Iran

We’ll see the deal soon, the president said:

Trump was joined on the trip by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, US Trade Ambassador Jamieson Greer, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino, Deputy Chief of Staff Beau Harrison, Communications Director Steven Cheung, National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett, Ambassador Monica Crowley, and various other White House officials.

Although Trump’s relationship with Macron and other European leaders has been strained in his second term — particularly over his assertion that they did not step up to the plate as America took on the Islamic Republic of Iran with Operation Epic Fury — it was all compliments and cooperation on Monday:

Things will soon get more serious, however, as leaders get together and hold discussions on economic growth, supply chain resilience, immigration, and artificial intelligence.

Trump wanted to make one thing clear, however: the peace deal with Iran does not include us handing them pallets of cash:

🚨 IT'S OFFICIAL: President Trump CONFIRMS Iran isn't getting a DIME, isn't getting any SANCTIONS relief simply for signing the deal

"It's behavioral. If they do what they're supposed to do! That [possible sanctions relief] starts taking effect." 💯

The fake news has been lying about this, to make it look like Trump lost.

TRAITORS. 47 did the right thing.

One thing we can be reasonably sure of: Trump won’t go off wandering aimlessly at the summit like his predecessor did:
