If you feel like you’ve read this story, it’s probably because you’ve seen something almost exactly like it. An illegal alien truck driver was let in under the Biden administration, somehow received a commercial driver’s license, and caused a horrific accident that killed a newlywed couple.
Sadly, it’s remarkably similar to the story of Harjinder Singh, an illegal from India who made a U-turn on a highway in Florida in August, causing a crash that killed three people, or the tragic accident caused by Jashanpreet Singh in California in October, which caused three fatalities, or numerous similar heartbreaking calamities.
Now it’s happened once more, and once again, the truck driver at the heart of the story got his CDL in the Golden State:
A truck driver charged with killing a newlywed couple in a horrific crash in Oregon is an illegal immigrant who was granted a commercial driver’s license in Gov. Gavin Newsom’s California, according to the feds.
Indian national Rajinder Kumar, 32, was arrested after he jackknifed his semi-truck and collided with a vehicle in Bend back on Nov. 24, killing William Carter and his new wife, Jennifer Lower.
Kumar was in the US illegally, having been released into the country by the Biden administration, the Department of Homeland Security revealed Monday as it announced that an immigration detainer has been lodged.
He was issued a commercial driver’s license in California and given work authorization in 2023, the feds said.
The couple had been married for only 16 days.

The tweet by the frequent observer of California's failures, Kevin Dalton, continues:
Rajinder Kumar, 32 of “Fresno” has been arrested on two counts of criminally negligent homicide and a count of reckless endangering.
If that weren’t tragic and or insane enough, Kumar has already posted bail but according to the judge "does not have a passport available to surrender in order to be released”.

Department of Homeland Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin blasted Newsom and California for their negligence in a statement on their website Monday:
“Rajinder Kumar, a criminal illegal alien from India, was released into our country under the Biden administration and issued a commercial driver’s license by Gavin Newsom’s Department of Motor Vehicles,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said.
“How many more senseless tragedies must take place before sanctuary politicians stop allowing illegal aliens to dangerously operate semi-trucks on America’s roads?”
How many more indeed? The stain of Joe Biden’s disastrous "let them all in" border policies continues to infect virtually all levels of American society, and while Donald Trump and his administration are doing all they can to undo his seemingly purposeful failures, we must remember that there are still the Gavin Newsoms of the world out there, who are more interested in protecting illegal aliens and fighting Trump than they are about protecting their own citizens.
Americans must be constantly reminded of Newsom’s long list of fiascoes when he inevitably, it would seem, runs for president. A Gavin presidency would just bring on more of this type of tragedy.
