Worries have continued that Iran might try to activate sleeper cells in our country following the U.S. bombing of their nuclear sites in June. News from the Border Patrol posted Tuesday won’t ease those fears, as they announced that they had apprehended five Iranian illegal aliens and two citizens of Uzbekistan in upper New York State.
On July 1, Border Patrol Agents from the Champlain, New York Station, responded to suspicious activity near Mooers Forks, NY. ICE Nabs Over a Dozen Iranian Nationals As Concern Over Sleeper Cells Deepens
As we reported in June, former President Joe Biden and his “let them all in and ask no questions” border policies allowed hundreds of unvetted Iranian nationals into the country:
The numbers are sobering. Look at how they got worse each year as Biden effectively abandoned his duties:
Over 1,500 Iranian nationals who illegally entered the U.S. at the southern border were arrested during the Biden administration, and nearly 50% of them were released back into the country, according to a senior U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) source.
More specifically, Border Patrol agents arrested 1,504 Iranian nationals from fiscal year 2021 through fiscal year 2024. Of the 1,504 individuals who were arrested, 729 were released into the U.S.
The number of Iranian nationals arrested at the southern border increased year-to-year, with 48 being arrested in FY21; 197 in FY22; 462 in FY23 and 797 in FY24.
Likewise, the number of Iranian nationals released also increased, with 12 in FY21; 40 in FY22; 229 in FY23; and 448 in FY24.
Thanks, Joe.
The sleep cell threat is no joke, because Iran is still spewing bellicose rhetoric and making threats even after our successful attack on the Fordow nuclear plant.

Earlier in July, a counterterrorism expert told Fox Digital that folks wishing to do us harm could be anywhere:
"Where these sleeper cells may be is in plain sight," former FBI special agent and terrorism task force member Jonathan Gilliam said. "And that's the real terrifying part of this is that putting people in place, as we've seen over the past four years, everyone's scrambling because certain amounts of people could come in here and get in here."
The good news is that we now have an administration that actually believes in law and order and a secure border. Let’s hope they keep one step ahead of the bad guys, no matter how much the Democrats whine about the administration's attempts to clean up Joe's messes.
Editor’s Note: Thanks to President Trump, illegal immigration into our great country has virtually stopped. Despite the radical left's lies, new legislation wasn't needed to secure our border, just a new president.
