It must not be a whole lot of fun being a CNN pundit or anchor these days. One of your star anchors beclowned himself by writing a book about the cover-up of Joe Biden’s mental decline—even though he was a key part of that cover-up. Your ratings stink. Republican Scott Jennings regularly shreds the arguments of your guests and commentators, your preferred party lost the presidential election, folks no longer trust you… the list goes on.
Unfortunately for them though, it may soon get a lot worse. Parent company Warner Bros. Discovery may be tiring of their leftist problem child:
CNN has "tears on the horizon" after Warner Bros. Discovery announced last week that it will split into two companies by separating its studios and streaming business from cable TV networks, according to media insiders.
The corporate split, which is expected to be completed by mid-2026, will have significant ramifications for CNN, which is being treated as a declining asset that weighed down WBD’s shinier businesses.
One reason nobody trusts them anymore is because of gaslighting like this:
CNN and MSNBC called the anti-ICE protests “peaceful” 211 times in 24 hours.

That’s not reporting—that’s narrative laundering.
When fires are burning and mobs are chanting, the media’s job isn’t to gaslight the public—it’s to tell the truth. But truth doesn’t serve the Left’s… pic.twitter.com/h1arU1UwQ8
But truth doesn’t serve the Left’s agenda.
The good times, however, may soon be coming to an end, according to an insider:
"It’s not just the overpriced talent. It’s the overpriced producers. The overpriced executives. The superfluous reporters who barely are on the air. All will either be exited or forced to take massive pay cuts," the media insider said.

The insider also says we should all feel bad for these folks. While there may be staffers, engineers and production specialists who aren’t behind the network’s hard-left slant, I’m unable to work up any sympathy for the stars who are paid gobs of money to misinform their viewers.
The insider added that "everyone should feel some sympathy for what’s about to happen," even if you aren’t a fan of the liberal network’s product.
Yeah, not so much.
CNN Stage Manager Pablo Parada admitted Jake Tapper "knew" about Biden’s health decline but refused to report it on air, then DENIED his own words when I confronted him on camera.

Former CEO Jeff Zucker, who resigned in 2022 after an affair with a staffer was uncovered, lavished his favorites with ridiculous contracts:
"CNN’s first- and second-tier talent now make, thanks to Jeff Zucker buying their loyalty, about five times what they’re worth on the open market. All talent should be offered a choice of an immediate pay cut -- based on a market analysis of their actual value -- with a three-year contract renewal, or we pay out their remaining contract and terminate them," the insider said.
It looks like consequences may be finally coming to the former “most trusted name in news.” It's about time.
