Many of my RedState colleagues and I have written extensively about the moral wrong of allowing biological males to compete against women and girls in competitive sports. It’s one of those issues you don’t need to ponder extensively—it’s inherently obvious that the practice is unsafe, unfair and deeply against most normal people’s principles.
And yet we keep seeing examples of males injuring women, stealing their trophies and scholarships, and making a mockery out of sport, all in the name of some malignant view of “equality.”
Many have said, “These ladies need to stand up and say enough is enough.” The reality is, though, that many have, and they have braved the woke administrators of their institutions who erase their concerns, they have dealt with hate and claims of being intolerant, they have gone head to head with the soulless ideologues who promote this rot in our society.
While many fearless ladies like former Kentucky swim star Riley Gaines and the outspoken former Levi’s executive and founder of XX-XY Athletics, Jennifer Sey, have stepped to the forefront in condemning this poison, a young California girl is going viral after she was demolished in competition Saturday by a biological male.
She could have sulked. She could have gone home and buried her head in her pillow and let herself be swallowed by a cloud of depression.
But she didn’t. She stood up. Reese Hogan is her name, and she gave the proverbial finger to the progressive mob when—after the official ceremony was finished—she took her rightful spot atop the winner’s podium, signaling that she was the real champion.
This is how you do it:
When the boy got off the podium, she assumed her rightful spot as champion. The crowd erupts with applause.

THIS is the way.
Congrats to Reese Hogan, the REAL champ!!! https://t.co/KiEm2yV2YY pic.twitter.com/hqGdikES29
Hogan, in my mind, was a hero in the moment:
Reese Hogan of Crean Lutheran High School competed in the CIF Southern Section Finals on Saturday, setting a new PR and record for her school.
After the meet, Hogan stood beside competitors from other schools, including AB Hernandez of Jurupa Valley - a male-born transgender athlete competing in girls track and field.
After they all posed for a picture - with Hernandez standing on the top, first place podium - Hogan 'assumed her rightful spot,' Riley Gaines, a political activist who fights against trans women in female sports, said.
'When the boy got off the podium, she assumed her rightful spot as champion,' Gaines wrote on X alongside a short clip of Hogan beaming as she stood at first place.
'The crowd erupts with applause. THIS is the way. Congrats to Reese Hogan, the REAL champ!!!'
Gaines also said Hernandez, who was seen holding up the number one and a medal, is a 'fraud.'
If you’re a liberal and you can’t understand what’s wrong with males competing against females, take this into account:
Hernandez won against Hogan in the triple jump by just over four feet. The trans athlete also won the long jump title and finished in seventh place for the high jump during the event, Sports Illustrated reported.
Four feet. That is miles in a hotly contested event. It’s also quite frankly a joke.

It’s not the first time Hernandez has used the system to his advantage and cheated actual females out of their achievements:
Just weeks before this moment, Hernandez sparked backlash after winning the triple jump by an astonishing distance.
According to official records, won the jump by nearly three feet, while the margin of victory in the long jump came in at a distance of nearly two feet.
A week prior, Hernandez won the triple jump at Ontario Relays by eight feet over the runner-up.
Donald Trump, unlike his gender-obsessed predecessor Joe Biden, has taken a strong stand against this derangement and in February issued his executive order titled "Keeping Men Out of Women's Sports.” While he’s made progress, the fight is clearly far from over. To wit, Senate Democrats continue to pretend this offense to human dignity is not a regular occurrence:
Legislation that aimed to bar transgender women and girls nationwide from participating in school athletic competitions designated for female athletes failed to advance in a divided Senate as Democrats stood united against an issue that Republicans leveraged in last year's elections.
A test vote on the bill failed to gain the 60 votes needed to advance in the chamber as senators stuck to party lines in a 51-45 vote tally.
Every single senator who voted against that bill should permanently hang their head in shame.
Do not forget: Whenever Gavin Newsom—governor of the Golden State and presidential hopeful—tries to pretend he’s a moderate, a regular ole not-even-a-tiny-bit-extreme kinda guy, just remember this is what he let go down on under his watch.
In California, a boy athlete, Ab Hernandez from Jurupa Valley High School, “won” two first place medals. He finished first in the girls’ triple jump with a 41’ 4” jump, over 4’ longer than 2nd place (the real winner) Reese Hogan.🙀👎😱 pic.twitter.com/pUaA5SkcJm
