As RedState's own Nick Arama reported Sunday evening, President Joe Biden showed us in a "60 Minutes" interview why he does so many fewer sit-downs than his predecessors—and it's mainly because he's incapable of appearing anymore without embarrassing himself. Even the anchor, Scott Pelley, admitted the octogenarian seemed "tired from directing all this." Read:

Former President Donald Trump was also less than impressed with the network's coverage and took to his social media platform Truth Social to blast CBS and Pelley for the softball handling of Biden:

They are protecting Biden even though he is the most corrupt and incompetent President in the history of the United States. The Carter Administration looks absolutely brilliant by comparison. Before the segment even ran, Pelley blatantly tried to encourage sympathy for the compromised president:
Ahead of the interview, Pelley offered his viewers a disclaimer about Biden's condition.
"Late Thursday, we met President Biden at the White House. It had been a rough week, and we could see it on him. Mr. Biden will be 81 next month, and he has said that when he's tired, his life-long stutter can creep back in," Pelley said.
Trump had a far different experience on the once-venerated show:
Trump alluded to his combative "60 Minutes" interview with CBS News' Lesley Stahl where she famously laughed off the Hunter Biden scandal in the final weeks of the 2020 election and told the then-president that the newly-surfaced laptop could not be verified.
As Arama also reported, Trump posted one of the funniest videos you'll see all week about the "Presidential Olympics." But he wasn't done—this one is pretty darn funny, too, showing him interviewing Biden on 60 Minutes instead of Pelley:
I would actually like to see the two of them in a real discussion, one-on-one, without partisan debate monitors and ridiculously short times allotted for responses. Whether you love Trump or can't stand him, I think it's safe to say he would crush Clueless Joe in a debate. For one thing, he'd have the facts on his side: during his presidency, there wasn't crushing inflation, the border wasn't a dangerous sieve, and we weren't watching Russia invade Ukraine or Hamas attack Israel.
I would also argue that regardless of your feelings for the current GOP front-runner for the 2024 presidential election, he is right on the money here with his criticism of "60 Minutes." Pelley was literally finishing sentences for Biden and guiding him every step of the way. He's also correct that the double standard in the media has become so blatant that it's almost comical—never in a million years would they have treated Trump, DeSantis, Haley, or any other Republican like they were delicate children.
But they did here, and it was shameful.
