Rep. Tim Burchett Has a Great Alternative Lineup for the 'Freedom 250' Concert That I Would be All in For

There is something divine and magical about the fact that Donald Trump will be the President as America celebrates its 250th birthday. It is both sad and comical that the left can't quite seem to connect the dots that you can dislike and disagree with the president but still love the country. The artists who backed out of performing at the "Freedom 250" concert at the White House also appear to be incapable of any dot connecting as well. However, there may be someone who has a pretty good answer to it all.

In a post on Sunday on X, Republican Rep. Tim Burchett (TN-02) offered up an amazing suggestion as an alternative to lefty musicians. Appearing to also be speaking to President Trump, Burchett stated:

"Get your friend and my friend, John Rich, great musician, to lead it off...and let him MC the dad gum thing, and have all these folks come in, there's plenty of acts in Nashville, people that are trying to get on a big stage..."

Burchett goes on to explain that the only expense would be getting them to Washington, D.C., saying:

"All we'd have to do is pay for their dad gum airfare, most of them, just to get them up there...and of course have Kid Rock, nobody is more patriotic in the rock n roll world than he is...And then the finale would be cool to have Lee Greenwood come out, he's got a bunch of great songs, but of course, the ending would be 'God Bless the USA,' and have all the other acts come out and sing along with him."

On Saturday, Trump suggested scrapping the idea of a concert altogether, but, dad gum it, he shouldn't give up so easily. Congressman Burchett really should float the idea of inviting musicians who don't think that patriotism is offensive to perform. Besides John Rich, the first name that should automatically jump to the top of the list is, like Burchett said, Kid Rock. If his performance at the 2024 GOP convention is any hint, he puts on an amazing show.

Others on X had some awesome additions to that patriotic lineup. In addition to John Rich and Kid Rock, "Steve" offered up this impressive list of patriots: Nicki Minaj, Vanilla Ice, Ted Nugent (my favorite on the list), Billy Ray Cyrus, Greenwood, and a tribute to Toby Keith. Another added Travis Tritt. And with guys like Rich and Rock putting it all together, there would be no better way to celebrate America.

The Freedom 250 concert is not about politics. It's about love of country and pride in being an American. Imagine your career being so beholden to the woke mob that you are afraid to express that love and pride. But even more so, imagine being one of those artists and finding out how easily replaceable you can be.

Editorโ€™s Note: Hollywood, academia, and liberal elites are out of touch with the average American.
