Get ready because you know it is coming. June is LGBTQ Pride Month. The month when American companies and corporations trip over each other to see who is the most "tolerant" of those in the LGBTQ community. But it is not just in the U.S. where Pride events are taking place. The leftists of the Biden administration, who are convinced the rest of the world thinks the same way they do, are gearing up for Pride Month by taking it worldwide. Of course, some of those events are focused on children — and the best part? You are paying for them.

The Biden State Department is hosting a whole array of LGBTQ events that include a gay film festival, an LGBT community conference, and the reading of "queer children's" literature. The State Department even has a theme for this year's events, "Pride and Protection: Human Rights for LGBTQI+ Persons around the World." A State Department spokesman explained,

“The theme is a stark reminder not only of the constant danger faced by LGBTQI+ persons for living their lives authentically, but also of the importance of our continued efforts at the Department internationally. Even as we continue to be heartened by indications of progress towards LGBTQI+ equality, we are also alarmed by anti-LGBTQI+ and anti-democratic sentiments that seek to disenfranchise LGBTQI+ persons."

So, just what are American taxpayers, whether they want to or not, getting for their funding of LGBTQ events in cities around the world? In Brno in the Czech Republic, events included the reading of "queer children's literature" to young children. Then there was the "picnic for queer youth," and an LGBT-affirming religious service that was performed by a female priest of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. However, the Czech LGBTQ community does not get a whole month, just a week, May 18-25. But that week cost U.S. taxpayers roughly $5,500.

In Sofia, Bulgaria, quite a shindig is being planned for June 22. Sofia Pride says it is the "largest human rights event in Bulgaria" and is "key to LGBTI+ visibility." One of the highlights is a conference on May 29 entitled, "A Family Like Any Other: Conference on legal protection for same-sex families in Bulgaria in relation to the EU law and the application of the ECHR rulings." The Sofia Pride event will be capped off by an 18-year-old and up dance. There will also be a film festival put on by a pro-LGBT nongovernmental organization called Deystvie. The film festival will cost $7,500 of your tax dollars and will "promote inclusion and acceptance of the LBGTIQ+ community."

In Australia, from June 13-15, $5,250 will go to "Better Together," an LGBTIQA+ community conference. This will also cover transgender and nonbinary rights. In India, there will also be "Better Together" conferences that cover topics like "the changing landscape of queer India" and "queerying menopause." Yes really. Also, let's not forget the Biden administration's support of queer Muslim writers in India, ballroom dancing to "uplift" transgender young people in Peru, LGBT refugees in Latin America, and perhaps the best use of American taxpayer dollars, theatrical productions to teach Africans about LGBT rights.

Bottom line: Joe Biden has already promised that should he win a second term, Americans will be sucker-punched with a $5 trillion tax increase, and he doesn't care that you don't want your hard-earned tax dollars going to fund the LGBTQ agenda. Get ready because the run-up to June has gone global.
