Anyone watching Democrats closely or listening to them in recent times would have to be struck by their impressive collective ability to make no sense whatsoever.

Short-circuits in Joe Biden's head would send him off on wandering verbal tangents, and we also saw videos of him physically wandering off as if he was lost or looking for something or someone, all as commander in chief with access to the nuclear launch codes.

And then there's ex-Vice President Kamala Harris' verbal pretzels, which she apparently thinks make sense, even though they usually don't to listeners: "It is time to do what we have been doing and that time is every day." I usually got the impression she actually was just throwing words out there, hoping they made sense.

Of course, there's her explanation of how computer memory is in the cloud, up there, you know, no longer in a file in the basement. And how she's "been working to manage the issues regarding this issue with due diligence and in a detailed-oriented manner..."

But now there's a new Dem double-speak. It's like a secret code designed to signal Wokeness to fellow Wokesters and appeal — or at least not offend — certain sectors of voters that progressives want to attract.

My favorite recent example is Andre Sayles, the police chief of Seattle, one of the country's major cities, working as hard as possible to be Woke. To avoid stigmatizing crazy shooters in his city, he has taken to calling them "trigger pullers."

To which SparksN123 on Twitter responded: "I guess people who get shot in Seattle now are Bullet Collectors."

I've collected a number of these more hilarious linguistic gymnastics for this week's mocking audio commentary, which you can listen to by clicking on the flag here:

This week's Sunday column seemed to be about the fun new movie, "Coyote vs ACME." In part, it was about that iconic cartoon hunt by a hungry Wile E Coyote of a speedy Road Runner in the Arizona desert.

The hilarious hunts began way back in 1948 and have caused generations of viewers to laugh hard enough for tears as the hapless coyote runs into disaster after disaster with gadgets and weapons purchased from the giant ACME Corp to capture the running bird.

We see him getting blown into cinders, crashing into mountains, run over by a truck that appears from nowhere in the desert, opening a parachute to discover only silverware, getting plastered on the front of a speeding train, squished by an anvil falling from the sky, hijacked by malfunctioning rocket skates, and more.

And, of course, the always-hilarious prolonged plunge off a cliff, whistling down and down into a deep, deep canyon to become a tiny puff of dust at the bottom. But Wile E fails to fall until noticing that he’s standing on thin air.

The newest episode is a feature-length movie that had to struggle to escape too. But in reality, I wrote, the fictitious chase is about much more:

The most recent audio commentary focused on the communist Muslim Mayor's plan to have New York City families leave their children with babysitters they have never met before to enjoy themselves out on the town for several hours.

The babysitters are city workers, not licensed childcare people. And though more than 500 parents signed up for the first night, almost half apparently had second thoughts and failed to show up. I couldn't imagine leaving my kid with a stranger, least of all a city worker in New York.

A writer for the New York Times wrote a glowing report, however. But she didn't use the municipal babysitters either. She left her two children with hubby and went to the park alone.
