Prepare for More Cranial Combustion: Jon Voight Declares Trump 'the Greatest President of This Century'

In May, Oscar-winning actor and dad to Angelina Jolie surely made some noggins combust when he proclaimed Donald J. Trump “the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln” (see here).

Well, brace for more blowout.

In a video posted to Twitter Monday, Mr. Voight took aim at “the radical Left” and their far-from-tolerant disposition before giving the President yet another title: the greatest president of this century.

“This is not peace,” he says in the clip. “This is not love. This is hate among the radical Left.”

Jon explains that “no amount of ‘book smart’ will show the given policy of what truth stands for. Truth is a powerful emotion.” Furthermore, he says, “Love is what we should be voting for.”

The actor expounds further on that whole “hate” idea:

“[T]his is war among the Left. They have hate. It’s like a venom. No words of God, no words of love, but a radical emotion of hate.”

He also praises the Commander-in-Chief for his stance in defense of Israel:

“I’ve said this many times, and I’m saying it again: From the deep truths of my heart and soul, President Trump is a man of truths, love, and justice for the American people. And also for the people of a sacred place — Israel.”

Trump certainly hasn’t shied away from defending the tiny and threatened Middle Eastern nation. He did so again on the White House lawn Wednesday, with a 2020 tie-in:

“In my opinion, the Democrats have gone very far away from Israel, I cannot understand how they can do that. They don’t want to fund Israel. They want to take away foreign aid to Israel. They want to do a lot of bad things to Israel. In my opinion, you vote for a Democrat, you’re being very disloyal to Jewish people and very disloyal to Israel.”

“Not only does [the President] love our country, the United States of America,” Jon notes, “but he has a love for the people of all nations.”

In closing, the Ray Donovan star asks for prayer for the Leader of the Free World as he wishes for clarity and a change of heart within those who detest him:

“Let us pray for peace. Let us pray for this country, that President Trump will take on four more years of his strength, devotion, knowledge of truths. And all that doubt and who have extreme hate and anger toward President Trump, may they be shown differently, that President Trump is the greatest president of this century. Let us take a stand for liberty and justice for all. God bless.”

Given the climate of Tinseltown, personally, I find Jon Voight’s perpetually outspoken endorsement of The Donald remarkable. If you think you and I are aware of Hollywood’s left-wing lean, how much more so must be a man who’s appeared in 98 productions starting in 1963?

But he isn’t wavering with his support.

Also unfaltering is his hope — for the United States and for the world.
