Much has been made of the in-party feud between Nancy Pelosi and the Fab Four Fresh Faces of the House — Alexandria, Ayanna, Ilhan, and Rashida — over the Pelosi-pushed border bill and a little thing called relevance.
The younger generation doesn’t respect its elders as did those of the past.
Still, I have to imagine Nancy Pelosi’s as shrewd as any in the political sphere, and she’s got talons that’d make those of the relative tykes look like puppy paws.

That public “whatever” is called public sentiment.

— Nancy’s standing on the solid rock of seniority and stick-to-itiveness.
The “wall is an immorality” legislator (here) is doubling down on what she said to The New York Times. That would be, “[The four freshmen] have their public whatever and their Twitter world,” but “they’re four people and that’s how many votes they got” (here).
BOOM!
On Wednesday, she made her position clear to The Washington Post:
“I have no regrets about anything. Regrets is not what I do.”
I believe her. In all cases.
She also reaffirmed her dismissive remark that “four people vetoed for the bill”:
“Four people voted for the bill. That’s what I said. And no other people followed.”
Yikes. Yes, talons.
