For the most part, it's been satisfying watching the vicious, bloodthirsty regime of the mullahs in Iran and their minions being disassembled by American and Israeli missiles and bombs. The old truism is once more proving true, that there is no problem which cannot be resolved with a suitable application of high explosives. The civilized world, whether they admit it or not, now owes the United States and Israel a big, fat thank you.
It's not over yet, of course. The remnants of the regime are regrouping, and while the Iranian people are literally dancing in the streets, those remnants have formed another ruling junta, as I reported earlier on Sunday.
Only a day after the removal of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and a fair number of subordinate goblins, the second tier appears to have arisen. In the wake of the near-complete decapitation of the regime, on Sunday morning, the Islamic Republic's remnants have formed a new leadership council, and they are vowing revenge.
This new collection of goblins has wasted no time vowing to get payback, and while the correlation of forces still stands overwhelmingly against them, we should nevertheless take their threats seriously; here's why, and I'm going to tell you.
There is one place where the United States, in particular, is vulnerable to some retaliation, and we have one man to thank for that: Joe Biden. From my story earlier:
Right here in the United States, after all, thanks to the feckless non-enforcement of immigration law and border security during the four years of the Biden administration, there may be as many as 1,500 Iranian nationals who entered the United States illegally from 2021 to 2025, and that number would only be the ones we know of. Now, today, we still likely have very little idea where these people are or what they are up to.
We also have no idea how many of them may be receiving orders from the new regime right now.
So, what might these people be up to? Nothing good, and that's for sure and for certain. And they won't be amateurs who are quickly neutralized, like one goblin we also reported on Sunday morning:

Iran and their proxies, like Hamas, employ a lot of useful idiots in their various operations. Many of the people who have strapped explosives to themselves are from the shallow end of the gene pool, and that's why as many of them get caught as they do.
But any operatives they may have sent to the United States will almost certainly be another kind of goblin altogether. They aren't going to send random fanatics across the ocean to infiltrate the United States across the southern or northern borders. Iran is a hot mess and has been for some time, but they still have the resources of a nation-state, including some highly trained, fit, and dedicated professional operators. Some of them are likely here, right now, and they won't go in for shooting up bars.
And Joe Biden's administration let them in.
I won't go into any speculation as to exactly how these people may choose to attack Americans, other than to note that they will attack soft targets. Schools, shopping centers, outdoor concerts; we aren't accustomed to having to show an excess of caution when out and about our daily business, and these people will know that.

They may operate as lone wolves, engaging at a distance and disappearing before any response can be mounted. They may operate in teams, with coordinated actions and responses. They may focus on first responders.
And Joe Biden's administration let them in.
These will be very, very dangerous people. They will be willing, even anxious, to kill as many Americans as they can. They will not flinch at killing anyone - children, the elderly, anyone. That will likely be their mission: To spread terror, to foment uncertainty and distrust. They will know how to do it, and they will be willing, even anxious to do it.
And Joe Biden's administration let them in.
Many years ago, I had occasion to speak to a young man of Mexican descent, an American citizen, whose main work was helping Mexican immigrants prepare for their citizenship testing. He wasn't enamored of illegal immigrants who skipped the line ahead of the people he was trying to help. But one thing he said to me has stuck in my mind ever since: "What if one of the Arab countries, or Iran, wanted to get some people in? Most of them have dark skin and black hair. Teach them to speak Spanish and dress them like a Mexican, and nobody will look twice at them."
He's not wrong. That may well have happened. How many, we don't know.
