It seems like hardly a day goes by without us learning another tidbit about what bad shape former (thankfully) President Joe Biden was in. Oh, we all knew things were bad; all you had to do was watch him try to squeeze out a few coherent sentences, or observe as he tried to negotiate the stairs up to Air Force One - or watch as Frau Doktor Professor Jill Biden carefully escorted him off a stage.
This guy, I remind you, supposedly had the authority to release nuclear weapons.
Now we learn that a planned visit to a ship in a Pennsylvania shipyard was nixed. Why? Because the then-president would have to take "too many steps."
Unearthed emails as part of a FOIA request show Biden administration agencies scrapping a plan to visit a vessel at an event because it would have required then-President Joe Biden to take too many steps.
Records show, as part of a FOIA request by Protect the Public’s Trust obtained by Fox News Digital, that Biden was set to visit a National Security Multi-Mission Vessel (NSMV) while touring a Philadelphia shipyard in July 2023.
However, according to the emails, that visit to the vessel was scrapped because of "how many steps were involved to get on the ship."
The emails show that the U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD) was engaged in a major project at the Philadelphia shipyard at the time that Biden was planning to visit to tout offshore wind and clean energy jobs.
It's tempting to look at something like this and think, "They can't be serious." But the more we learn of just how bad things really were in the Biden administration, the more we learn about how mentally and physically impaired this guy really was, the more of a head-scratcher the whole thing becomes. How was it allowed to go on this long?
A MARAD official emailed members of the Office of Secure Transportation, with the Department of Transportation cc’d, on July 17, 2023, that said, "No visit to the NSMV vessel is planned after the WH realized how many steps were involved to get on the ship. {True – lots of steps on grating}."
Well, in no small part, this went on because the White House and the Biden administration carefully managed befuddled old Joe to minimize exposure. But you can't keep these kinds of things hidden forever.

Bear in mind that while all this was going on, President Trump, then candidate Trump, was climbing aboard garbage trucks, handing out McDonald's cheeseburgers and fries, and oh, by the way, getting shot and bouncing back to his feet to give us the most powerful political image since Ronald Reagan at the Brandenburg Gate.
Then, however, came the one thing that Biden's people couldn't avoid: The debate. That was the end; one might say, the final Trump.
While it's shocking (although not really surprising) to keep getting more and more information as to just how bad Joe Biden really was, it can also serve as a reminder that we, as a nation, dodged having four years of the one person who would have been worse - Kamala Harris. Joe's failure thrust her into the spotlight, which is the last place she needed to be. And, once again, as a nation, we dodged not only a bullet, but approximately ten years' output of all the munitions factories in the world.
And there can be little doubt that President Trump is able and prepared to take as many steps as necessary, in more ways than one.
