TOP O' THE MORNIN'
Watch: Scott Jennings Derails CNN Panel's Attempt to Paint Biden's 'Garbage' Remarks As a 'Stutter'
Either these people on this CNN panel, and indeed the left, think we're stupid or they themselves are. There's almost no in between here.
Did Biden Just Threaten Trump?
But it turns out, intentionally or unintentionally, Joe Biden is the October Surprise that keeps on giving, and he may have just stuck the final stake in Kamala's campaign.
'Deranged': Former Chief of Staff Demolishes TDS-Riddled John Kelly's 'Fascist Trump' Narrative
Mulvaney just blew this trash narrative out of the water. Kelly, it would appear, is just another self-serving, bitter narcissist who didn’t get what he wanted, so he has taken his ball and gone home in a snit.
WHAT'S ON TAP?
Today on Capitol Hill...
While the Johns (Thune - SD and Cornyn - TX) prepare to duke it out over Senate leadership post-Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Senate Republicans have rolled out a bill aimed at re-funding the program that provides disaster relief loans to businesses and homeowners.
Meanwhile in the House, there's a bipartisan push to persuade President Joe Biden to greenlight Poland shooting down Russian missiles over Ukraine.
White House What's Up
Sorry — can't provide an update on Biden's schedule today; it actually got thrown in the trash...

Just kidding. This morning, the soon-to-be-former-president (perhaps even sooner than anticipated?) will hold a meeting on the administration's "efforts to support Hispanic-Serving Institutions." After that, he'll hold a bilateral meeting with Republic of Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides. Wednesday evening, Joe and First Lady Jill will host a trick-or-treat event for local children at the White House. Also, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will hold a briefing Wednesday afternoon — expect that to be a fun one!
The Homestretch
Fresh off having her Ellipse speech eclipsed by her bumbling boss, Vice President Kamala Harris travels to Raleigh, North Carolina, for a campaign event, followed by campaign events in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and Madison, Wisconsin. Second (not a) Gentleman Doug Emhoff will be at events in Las Vegas, Nevada. Harris running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, is campaigning in North Carolina on Wednesday. (Per reports, he plans on tripling down and calling Trump supporters Nazi garbage monsters today.)
Former President Donald Trump has two rallies on the schedule for Wednesday: one in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, in the afternoon, and one in Green Bay, Wisconsin (with Brett Favre) in the evening. Running mate JD Vance (R-OH) will hold a town hall in Bedford, Pennsylvania, with former Congresswoman (and newly minted Republican) Tulsi Gabbard early Wednesday evening.
Full Court Press...
Judge Aileen Cannon has denied the recusal motion of Ryan Routh, the man accused of mounting a second failed assassination attempt on Trump. (Routh asserted recusal was warranted due to the "appearance of partiality" on Cannon's part — because she was appointed to the bench by Trump, because of her presiding over the criminal case against Trump, and because...she went to high school with one of the US Attorneys on the case and attended his wedding a decade ago.)
Axel Rudakubana, the 18-year-old charged with killing three girls and wounding 10 others during a stabbing attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance event in July appeared in court Wednesday in Westminster to face additional charges (terrorism and possession of a deadly poison).
The judge ordered the new charges to be transferred to Liverpool Crown Court, where prosecutors will ask for them to be consolidated with the murder and attempted murder charges. He faces a hearing in Liverpool on Nov. 13.

MORNING MUSING
Like many, I cringed through Kamala's Ellipse speech Tuesday night. It was about what I expected: long on bashing Trump; short on anything particularly substantive or noteworthy. Still, she delivered her teleprompted speech adequately. And then...Biden trashed her. Will it affect the outcome of an election in which one-third of the electorate has already cast their ballots? We may never know. But just because it's already been a crazy election and crazy year, I have one more possibiity to throw out there:
This won't happen (probably), but imagine this scenario: Joe (yet again) sweeps the leg. Kamala, in response, invokes the 25th Amendment. She becomes 47. Loses the election to Trump, who becomes 48 (and a whole lot of merch winds up in a trash heap...in Puerto Rico).

Like I said, it probably won't happen. But if it does, just remember, you saw it here first.
LIGHTER FARE
Sorry, not sorry — this has now officially become the most memeable election ever.
