MORNING MUSING

It's easy to lose sight of the ongoing congressional and statewide primaries in all the sound and fury that swirls around the presidential race, but indeed, they're proceeding apace — and there are still several left as we roll into the late days of summer. Yet to come: Alaska, Florida, and Wyoming (August 20); Oklahoma (August 27); Massachusetts (September 3); Delaware, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island (September 10). And as much focus and energy as we'll all be dedicating to the presidential contest over the next 83 days, don't forget: Those other races and offices matter, too.
