Things are going from bad to worse for the Democrat Party ahead of the 2026 midterm elections, with their party registration woes across the 30 states that document party registration being amplified by the NY Times, and with blue state governors engaged in a nationwide redistricting battle that they can't win.
Also, there was fresh reporting on Monday about issues looming for Democrats after the 2030 Census takes place, where projections are that the party is going to lose more congressional seats due to population shifts as fed-up voters flee to red states to escape higher taxes and worsening crime rates.
In other words, the "Dems in Disarray" scenario is playing out in real time - and we are here for it.

Naturally, when a party's back is against the wall, everyone is curious to know how they're going to try and get themselves back into the game.
According to Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), a failed 2020 presidential candidate, the answer is to ... double down on the agenda that voters rejected in 2024.
Warren, at a MoveOn "Won't Back Down" rally in Omaha on Sunday, sitting next to woke Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL), said Democrats weren't elected to "lie down and play dead" but to "fight back" against President Donald Trump in hopes of winning the House back in 2026:

Apparently, one way to "fight back" against Trump is to triple down on the defund the police message that cost Democrats House seats in 2020:

We're seeing similar messaging from Democrats on Trump federalizing law enforcement in Washington, D.C. They've repeatedly screamed "crime isn't that bad here" when they darned well know that's not a true statement. But they can't help it, apparently. It's what TDS does to people.
Relatedly, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) said in an interview on CNN Sunday that the path forward for Democrats to regain the trust of voters and retake the House is to tell them who Democrats are and what they stand for:

Except, as I've said before, the faces of the modern Democrat Party aren't out there talking about the kitchen table issues that matter to most Americans. Instead, they're forging ahead with the Orange Man Bad narrative, apparently not understanding that they tried this playbook in 2024 and it didn't work.
They're also doubling down on unpopular agenda items like criminal illegal immigrant "rights," allowing men in women's sports, and soft-on-crime polices - all of which voters soundly pushed back against last November.
But by all means, please "stay on message," Democrats. Pretty please with sugar on top.
Editor’s Note: The Democrat Party has never been less popular as voters reject its globalist agenda.
