Contrary to popular belief, apparently there are some lines that even anti-Israel types won't cross after all. But only when they're shamed into doing so.
As RedState previously reported, the newly formed "Doctors Against Genocide" (DAG) anti-Israel group, whose powerful allies include antisemitic members of Congress like House Hamas Caucus members Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Cori Bush (D-Mo.), announced on Christmas Day of all days that it was holding a "Stop the Genocide in Gaza" event inside the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, encouraging their supporters to obtain free tickets from the museum.
For those who missed the announcement, here it is:

The planned protest to disrupt the day-to-day activities and education that takes place at the museum understandably sparked a massive backlash on social media over a 24-hour time span once it was discovered what the group was planning on doing.
In two tweets, the Holocaust Museum also weighed in and made it very clear where they stood on DAG's event, also including a link to their building policies - which prohibit protests inside the building:
1/2 Our Museum is the national memorial to the six million Jews killed by Nazi Germany and its collaborators. It is deeply offensive to survivors and the memory of the victims to exploit Holocaust history.
2/2 Our long-standing policy against protests in our Museum preserves this space for the solemn memory of victims, the reflections of survivors, and its educational mission.
In an update to this story, the group - which according to reports has "roughly 200 medical professionals advocating for a cease-fire" - has now backtracked and canceled the event, proclaiming that their goals were distorted by alleged bad faith actors and disgustingly trying to claim that they have similar objectives to that of the museum in understanding genocidal regimes:
Important announcement regarding our action!

We made a decision to cancel the event. We will be announcing future events with more detailed communication.

Anytime these advocacy organizations crop up, finding out who is funding their activities is important, especially in terms of determining where they really stand:
The "Donate" page of "Doctors Against Genocide" gives a hint as to who is behind it. "Doctors Against Genocide is a program of Jetpac, a 501(c)3 nonprofit," it says.
Jetpac is a Muslim political advocacy group. "Jetpac (Justice Education Technology Political Advocacy Center) seeks to build a strong American Muslim political infrastructure and increase our community’s influence and engagement. Our philosophy of change is rooted in a community-based approach, grassroots mobilization, civics training, and technology application. We have developed our own training curriculum, as well as proprietary social media technology and automation tools, to give our Fellows the skills and resources they need to win elections."
Jetpac was founded by Nadeem Mazen, a Cambridge, MA city council member and leader of CAIR Massachusetts. CAIR has links to Hamas and indeed has never condemned Hamas by name.
What a surprise. As always, follow the money.
