In one of the grossest escalations of the pro-Hamas movement within the United States yet, protesters are planning to storm the Washington, D.C.-based Holocaust Memorial Museum. 

The announcement was made on Christmas Day by the Muslim political activist group "Doctors Against Genocide." It contains instructions for protesters to garner free tickets for the Holocaust museum and then show up on December 28th to enter the building.

There is no low that is too low for these people. It is insane to think that anyone in America would be disgusting enough to storm a Holocaust museum as a way to protest the destruction of Hamas. 

To be clear, there is no genocide going on in Gaza. There is only a war that the Palestinians started with a vicious attack on October 7th that killed 1,400 people and saw over 200 more taken hostage. Whatever one feels about the civilian casualties that have occurred after that point, the word "genocide" carries with it very specific requirements that have not been met. 

The Israelis are not targeting people based on race, ethnicity, or religion, and they are not trying to wipe out everyone who lives in the Gaza Strip. If they were, there wouldn't be anything left of the area. As it stands, some 85 percent of buildings are untouched, and Israel has continually allowed civilians to flee to evacuation zones. Claiming the war against Hamas is genocide is to claim that every war that results in civilian casualties is genocide, and that's simply ludicrous and dishonest.

What we are seeing is an attempt to appropriate a real genocide that saw six million Jews systematically detained and murdered, mostly in death camps, as a way to prop up a terrorist government that just refused yet another ceasefire. What does the Holocaust museum have to do with Israeli military policy? The answer is nothing, but at the core of the pro-Palestinian movement is rank antisemitism that seeks to paint Jews as the "real" nazis. 

So who's behind this event? Here's a little more information on "Doctors Against Genocide."

No one will be surprised to learn this group is a fly-by-night operation that is likely working in cahoots with antisemites Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar. Will they follow through on this planned attack? I'd like to think that the current backlash will be enough to deter them, but these are the same people who have desecrated nativity scenes and stormed Christmas fundraisers for blind children. Again, there is no low that is too low for them.
