As we predicted Thursday, President Joe Biden’s “border visit” to El Paso on Sunday was nothing more than a heavily scripted “dog and pony show” designed to make Biden look like he was Doing Something™ while border communities continue to pay the price for his disastrous open borders policies and his administration’s lies and inaction.
In fact, Biden’s trip – which turned out to be as big a flop as Vice President Kamala Harris’ trip to El Paso in June 2021 – was so obviously a photo-op that even the Democrat apologists at CNN didn’t let him off the hook, calling it “tightly controlled” in the headline…
#Biden border visit:
1. Visit with NGOs
2. Photo op with Border Patrol/CBP
3. El Paso turned into Potemkin Village devoid of any migrants
4. Policies addressing efficiencies/expenditures to process migrants not stopping deluge of migrants.

… and then went even further in the opening paragraphs, calling him out for not meeting with any actual migrants:
President Joe Biden visited the US-Mexico border on Sunday for the first time as president, but he did not appear to see or meet with migrants, including during a trip to a migrant respite center.
Biden spent several hours in El Paso in his first visit to the southern border as president, following growing outcry and criticism that he had not yet seen the crisis created by the record number of migrants trekking to the border first hand. But that brief visit appeared largely focused on enforcement issues and speaking with border enforcement personnel. Reporters on the ground did not see any migrants at the respite center during the president’s visit there, nor along the motorcade routes throughout the afternoon.
Asked to explain the thinking behind having Biden visit this specific center and ultimately not meeting or interacting with any migrants there, a senior administration official told CNN, “There just weren’t any at the center when he arrived. Completely coincidental. They haven’t had any today.”
“Completely coincidental,” just like there were conveniently no migrants to be found in downtown El Paso, which reportedly had been scrubbed and “sanitized” of the migrant camps in the days leading up to Joe Biden’s visit to the area. I’m sure that was “completely coincidental,” too.
Though the CNN report was surprisingly thorough and shockingly critical of the POTUS, there’s no word yet from them nor any other media outlet on whether or not Joe Biden made a run for another border – the Taco Bell border, that is. We’ll keep you posted on what we found out from our sources.
Meanwhile, fresh off of 15 rounds of voting that was at times highly contentious, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) is vowing action against Biden and DHS Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas:
Biden is making his first border visit of his life—a photo op—while pushing for amnesty for millions of immigrants who have crossed into the US illegally.
House Republicans will hold him and Mayorkas accountable for creating the most dangerous border crisis in American history.

As always, stay tuned.
