As we’ve documented extensively here at RedState, there’s been a lot of misinformation reported about the Wuhan coronavirus, especially as it relates to the Trump administration’s handling of the outbreak.
Much of this misinformation has come from the same national media outlets who have repeatedly played despicable political spin games in order to “report” news to you in such a way so as to make people believe the country is falling apart due to supposed inept leadership on the crisis, starting with Trump.
Fox News’ Jesse Watters put together a good, comprehensive 4 minute report over the weekend that debunked some of the mainstream media’s more sensationalistic claims about the CDC, Trump’s comments about states obtaining supplies, alleged funding cuts to the CDC and more. I hope you’ll take the time to watch it and perhaps pass it on to others may be misinformed on these issues.
Below the video, I’ll include links to reporting from my RedState colleagues and I that detail some claims made by the media and how they aren’t true or are, at the very least, very misleading.
