There are few Democratic politicians in America more willing to completely ignore the (inconvenient) facts on the ground than California Gov. Gavin Newsom.

Newsom, who has never met a camera he didn’t like, is fond of completely passing the buck when it comes to self-made problems in his home state, such as the homeless crisis – which he routinely blames on President Trump and Republicans.

With that in mind, it shouldn’t be any surprise at all to find out that the governor, in a tweet posted on New Year’s Day, touted California’s “decade” of “accomplishments” in astonishingly tone-deaf comments:

Yeah … no.

The govnah can run from the problems created by decades of Democratic rule in his state, but he cannot hide from them.
