Jealous Russian Thug Learns Fate After Barron Trump’s FaceTime Heroics Saved Woman from Savage Assault

A wealthy Russian former MMA fighter learned his fate in a London courtroom on Friday after brutally assaulting his girlfriend in a drunken, hour-long beating — an attack that was partially witnessed in real time by Barron Trump. It was Trump's actions, as RedState has reported, that potentially saved the woman's life and ultimately led to the conviction of 23-year-old Matvei Rumiantsev.

Rumiantsev, a trained fighter and son of a well-known Russian coffee tycoon from a military family, flew into a rage after learning of the woman's growing friendship with the recently turned 20-year-old son of President Donald Trump. Barron and the woman had met through social media.

Rumiantsev, according to reports, answered a FaceTime call from Trump on the victim's phone and at one point turned the camera toward her as she cried on the floor. She had been "repeatedly" struck.

The young man could have panicked. Instead, Barron kept his cool, figured out how to contact emergency services in the United Kingdom (999) from Florida, provided the woman's address, and helped ensure police arrived on the scene. Eventually, anyway. More on that in a minute.

The victim later testified that Barron's quick thinking "helped save my life," calling his intervention nothing short of a "sign from God."

Barron Trump Kept His Cool in a Dangerous Moment — Then Saved a Woman's Life

Perhaps one of the bigger stories here is just how terrible emergency services in Britain apparently are. This beating went on for an hour while Trump, who was urgently trying to get law enforcement to rescue the woman, was peppered with nonsensical questions from the dispatcher about how he met the woman.

When Trump suggested the background is less important than getting people to his friend, the dispatcher accused him of "being rude."

One hour. That's how long this woman was at the mercy of a former MMA fighter as he "repeatedly struck her." And the person fielding that call is concerned about manners.

Rumiantsev, who was convicted back in January, finally learned his fate when a London judge sentenced him to four years in prison for the savage assault. In addition to being convicted of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, he was also convicted of perverting the course of justice for pressuring the woman from behind bars to drop the charges.

The jury found him not guilty on two counts of rape, one count of strangulation, and one count of assault by beating.

The judge in the case slammed Rumiantsev as "a man given to jealousy" and having a temper, calling the attacker "totally unrepentant" for his actions.

"Your lack of insight and empathy was apparent at trial. You continue to try to blame the complainant for everything that has happened," he said.

Thank goodness, Barron was able to have an impact on this woman's life and step in when she needed it the most. Well done, young man. Think the media will dive into this story? You know, as compared to the last First Son? Nah, a feel-good story on Trump family values probably isn't in the cards.

Barron, by the way, just celebrated his 20th birthday last week.
