President Trump, fielding questions from the press during an Oval Office announcement regarding the World Cup, revealed which Democrat-run, crime-infested cities would next be the subject of a National Guard crackdown to make their streets safe again.
Guard troops were sent to Washington, D.C. over a week ago, with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth now authorizing them to be armed should their mission require it.
The results were stark and immediate. Over 500 arrests. And a noticeable pause in murders in the city over the past week.
As RedState's Ward Clark reported, "Homeless encampments have been cleaned up, hundreds of goblins have been arrested, and people can once more walk the streets of our national capital without too much worry about being mugged."
What city wouldn't want similar results? What normal human being wouldn't want to be able to walk the streets in their home city without having to fear for their safety and the safety of their kids?
Trump says next up is Chicago, Illinois, which desperately needs saving from a "grossly incompetent mayor" in Brandon Johnson (D).
"After we do this (D.C.), we'll go to another location and we'll make it safe also," he explained. "We're going to make our country very safe. We're going to make our cities very, very safe."
"Chicago's a mess, you have an incompetent mayor - grossly incompetent - and we'll straighten that one out probably next," Trump said. "That will be our next one after this."

Honestly, the reinforcements couldn't come soon enough. A pair of shootings on the streets of Chicago claimed the lives of two men (both aged 38) and a woman (aged 27) overnight.
President Trump bragged that the crackdown on crime in the liberal cesspool "won't even be tough" and suggested people of all demographics in the city are begging to be saved from liberal incompetence.
"The people in Chicago, Mr. Vice President, are screaming for us to come," Trump said, turning to J.D. Vance, who affirmed the statement. "They're wearing red hats just like this one."
The President was wearing a "Trump was right about everything" hat at the time. Somewhere out there, Jussie Smollett is saying, "See, I told you it was MAGA country?!"
"African-American ladies, beautiful ladies, are saying, 'Please, President Trump, come to Chicago. Please," Trump continued. "I did great with the black vote, as you know, and they want something to happen."
The President said that the crime crackdown would next happen in New York City, after that, while Vance chimed in that Los Angeles is also on their radar.

Trump then suggested the media will, of course, say negative things about his push to enforce the laws and clean up the streets while secretly being thrilled that he's taking these actions.
"I think a lot of these people you see on television, including the people in this audience," he said, pointing to reporters."They'll say bad things about me. And then they'll say, 'Thank God he's here.' Because half of them got mugged."
Will Democrat voters finally figure it out? Once Trump cleans up their war-torn streets, will they go back to voting for the same people that led to their decay in the first place?
Editor's Note: President Trump isn't going to allow lawlessness to reign in America. We will not have a repeat of 2020's "Summer of Love."
