President-elect Donald Trump's plans to begin mass deportations almost immediately upon taking office are taking shape, as Chicago has become a significant focus of the operation.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have reportedly been devising a plan called "Operation Safeguard," an initiation of deportation efforts for illegal aliens in the Windy City. It is set to commence the day after Trump's inauguration and run until the following Monday.

Sources have told the New York Times that around 150 agents will be sent to Chicago to conduct "post-inauguration" raids. The Times repeatedly refers to those being deported falsely as "immigrants," neglecting to add the qualifier that they are "illegal."

Legal immigrants will not be subject to deportation.

"The incoming Trump administration intends to carry out 'post-inauguration' immigration raids in Chicago next week," the Times writes, adding it marks, "an opening step in President-elect Donald J. Trump’s goal to oversee the largest deportation operation in American history."

We told you that Trump's official portrait alone indicates he's dead serious about everything he vowed to do on the campaign trail. And that's what America needs right now - an adult in the room willing to do some occasionally painful work to restore this nation.

Incoming border czar Tom Homan hints that the mass deportation operation set to commence the week of the inauguration will not be limited to Chicago. In an interview with Fox News’ Jesse Watters on Friday, he was asked about the potential raids.

"There’s going to be a big raid across the country. Chicago is just one of many places. We’ve got 24 field offices across the country. On Tuesday, ICE is finally going to go out and do their job," said Homan. "We’re going to take the handcuffs off ICE and let them go arrest criminal aliens, that’s what’s going to happen."

Homan, who served under the first Trump term and during the Obama-Biden administration, indicates nobody will be spared from the forthcoming operation - criminal record or not.

"What we’re telling ICE, you’re going to enforce the immigration law without apology. You’re going to concentrate on the worst first, public safety threats first, but no one is off the table," he insists. "If they’re in the country illegally, they got a problem."

Homan's comments echo Congressman Andy Biggs's (R-AZ) op-ed for RedState.

"No exceptions," Biggs wrote.

"Why? Because a nation that professes to be free must also be a nation of laws. Failure to enforce the laws means that some people are exempt from the law and, can it be a stretch to say that the implication is that some are better than others? That cannot be in America."

The New York Post spoke to ICE officers who indicated the scope of the initial deportation effort will be significant. Those who spoke to the outlet reveal that the multi-day “ground operations” will begin across several sanctuary cities, including Chicago and New York City.

Those officers have described the effort as a "big f**king operation."

Chicago residents of late have engaged in a sort of uprising with pro-illegal alien Mayor Brandon Johnson, voicing their concerns at city budget meetings, clearly fed up with the illegal immigrant invasion befalling their city.

"You caused all this money to go to illegal immigrants," one concerned citizen voiced. "Anything that you all pass is not genuine."

Another blasted Johnson for failing to "protect the people of Chicago from invasion."

Johnson responded by deporting them from the meeting.

President-elect Trump has made it clear that he will create and execute the most extensive mass deportation effort for illegal immigrants in the nation's history. That's precisely what the American people voted for.

And Trump understands that Homan is the perfect man to carry out the operation.

In the immediate days after the presidential election, Trump's Border Czar warned Democrats trying to stand in the way of deportation and enforcement efforts that they better "get the hell out of the way."

The people have spoken on this matter. Polls show ever-increasing support for a hard line on enforcing the laws of a sovereign nation. A stunning 87% of Americans favor deporting those who are here illegally and have criminal records. A plurality (55-42%) support deportation for individuals even without a criminal record.

Democrats should probably stand down. The games are over.
