Trump Got Intro From Big Name at Rally, and Liberals Were Not Happy Campers

President Donald Trump was in New York for a rally on Friday at Rockland Community College in Suffern to support Republican Rep. Mike Lawler (NY-17) for re-election.

As our sister site Townhall observed, Trump got a pretty big introduction while he was there from N.Y. Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart. "Big Blue" is the nickname for the Giants, so of course, he first gave a shout-out to them and the fans.

"What an honor, what a privilege it is to be here," Dart declared, then he introduced the "45th and 47th President of the United States."

Trump was equally gracious, praising Dart's skills and saying he, Trump, loved New York and that we needed to "straighten it out."

“I want to thank Jaxson Dart, this is going to be a future Hall of Famer in my book,” Trump said, pointing at Dart. “Thank you, thank you, Jaxson. Lot of talent.”

He joked about Dart having “legs like tree trunks.”

That made liberals madder than wet hens that Dart would dare to have the effrontery to do such a thing.

Those were some of the printable comments. They cannot tolerate any political disagreement - the most illiberal people ever.

Trump also recognized Welles Crowther, who is known as "The Man in the Red Bandana" for saving 18 people, courageously sacrificing his own life, on 9/11. Trump announced that Crowther would receive a much-deserved Presidential Medal of Freedom and congratulated his mother on raising such a fine son.

Trump also embraced the family of Sheridan Gorman, the 18-year-old college student who was allegedly killed by an illegal alien. Her mother, Jessica Gorman, said her daughter's life was stolen by a man who should never have been here.

She pleaded with people to support "leaders and policies" that would protect "your child and mine." A city, state, or country that does not protect its children has "lost its way," she asserted.

Her husband, Tom Gorman, also echoed that thought:

"But I do not understand why this is a fight that belongs to only one party," he said. "Protecting our people is not politics. It is the first responsibility of government."

He's absolutely right, but the Democrats have abandoned that responsibility, one of the many reasons they should not have power.
