Trump’s Hilarious Response to Seeing Mark Cuban at His Side Says It All

President Donald Trump held an event on Monday to tout his "Trump Rx" effort to lower the cost of 600 generic prescription drugs.

People noticed a surprising partner was present at the event: Mark Cuban, who had previously supported Kamala Harris against Trump in the 20224 presidential race.

Cuban was there because the effort involves a partnership with companies including Amazon, GoodRx, and Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs.

One of the reporters asked Trump about Cuban being there, given his 2024 vote, calling it "very remarkable" because he supported Kamala Harris. Trump's answer was classic Trump.

"Well, he made a mistake. It was a big mistake," Trump said, eliciting laughter from many in the room, including Dr. Mehmet Oz and from Cuban himself.

"What does it say about what you two are building here?" the reporter continued.

"It says we love people. We love our country," Trump replied, praising Cuban's company and saying it would do a lot of business.

“By incorporating this massive catalog of low-cost generics at TrumpRx.gov consumers will now have one source to ensure that they’re getting the lowest possible cost on their prescription, so they have a real option now,” Trump said.

Reporters later tried to grill Cuban on whether he regretted his support for Kamala Harris, now that he was supporting a big Trump initiative.

But Cuban said he wasn't going to get into politics at all. "When all is said and done, the goal is the goal. How do we make medications and healthcare cheaper? That's all I care about." He said everyone wanted that and that the goal was about "reducing stress" on the American people. "That's the ultimate goal," he said.

But you know that he's going to get attacked by folks on the left for even being involved, even though Democrats claim they care about such things. Because even if it's a good thing, how dare he violate their "hate Trump always" rule? And the "hate Trump" stance is supposed to trump all.

The effort points to a big reality — whatever Cuban may think about Trump, it's Trump taking action and getting things done. He will put differences aside to do it.

Meanwhile, I'm not even sure anyone could point to anything that Kamala Harris did when she occupied office that was consequential. We can count our lucky stars every day that she didn't win in 2024.
