Spencer Pratt Levels Both Karen Bass and Nithya Raman With Common Sense and Humor

Spencer Pratt's campaign for mayor of Los Angeles is striking a chord with people who, for so long, have had to put up with Democrats' failures and the city's death spiral.

Pratt's story of losing his house in the Palisades Fire because of that incompetence resonates with people. Because it's hit him, himself, he shows a real fervor to fix the longstanding problems that have plagued the city.

It's obviously making the Democrats very nervous, and they're trying to slam him, but the efforts are truly lame. They're failed attempts, much like their policies.

As we reported, the current Mayor, Karen Bass, claimed that Pratt is "tapping into a general sense of anger." As my colleague, Jennifer Oliver O'Connell, put it in her headlines, "Ya think?!" How dumb was Bass' comment? There's a good reason for that. Anger.

Pratt was quick with the reply to explain the anger that people are feeling.

"Yeah. Over her failed leadership," he responded.

But he wasn't done yet. Another candidate, Nithya Raman, tried to hurt Pratt with this tweet, claiming that President Donald Trump was about to endorse him. She was saying that in an attempt to get more people to donate to her campaign.

Donald Trump is about to endorse Spencer.  Tonight is the fundraising deadline, and we need to raise more to prove that LA doesn't want a MAGA Republican mayor who lives in the Bel Air hotel.

She's putting that out, hoping that it hurts him in a generally blue city like Los Angeles. While that rumor is circulating, Trump has not done so and, according to sources close to the campaign, he has not sought the endorsement. Raman may also be miscalculating how such an endorsement would be taken, as well.

But why does Pratt have to occasionally stay in that hotel, Nithya? Imagine thinking that's a "gotcha," when again it's a self-own over how clueless Democrats are about the anger, especially while she owns a multi-million dollar home.

The problem that the Democrats have is that people are tired of the incompetence. They want someone who is going to fix things. They want someone who isn't going to just flood them with nonsense and ask for their money. Pratt keeps talking about the issues that people care about, while Bass is putting out statements about wanting to fund healthcare for meth heads with rotten teeth. His X timeline is full of the things people care about: stopping crime and dealing with the mess the Democrats have left.

Pratt had a great, humorous response to Raman's post.

I think his campaign is going into hyperdrive at this point, with both common sense and humor.
