Democrats have been scrambling, trying to distinguish themselves from each other in the California governor's race, but it hasn't been going well for them, especially when the top Republican candidates are both clearly better than any of the Democrats.
You have to love their infighting because it shows how inappropriate all the Democrats are for the job.
Former U.S. Representative Katie Porter was hard at it during an interview on CNN with Dana Bash.
Katie Porter blames Tom Steyer for the leaked video of her abusing a staffer.

BASH: "How do you know that?"
PORTER: "I am confident that is the case, I have been told by many people…" pic.twitter.com/Q6wd672Qfw
During that interview on CNN's "Inside Politics," Porter pointed a finger at her billionaire opponent in the race, Tom Steyer, for leaking a video of her screaming at a staffer.
"Well, given that Tom Steyer is the person who leaked the video with me and the staffer from five years ago, he pretty clearly didn't think that I, he pretty clearly wanted to be governor bad enough to knock me down to do it."
Porter claimed that it was a Department of Energy video, and you could follow that trail.
Thanks for continuing to bring it up, Katie! Let's remind people of what a sweet person you are.

Add to it that she had multiple other incidents of temper or allegedly going off on people.
Porter said she had apologized for yelling at the staffer, and tried to turn it into a joke in a recent ad, but it basically bombed.

Meanwhile, even CNN fact-checked Porter on the claim against the Steyer team.

"I should note that we don’t have evidence that Steyer leaked that video of you," Bash said. "If you have it, please bring it."
The Steyer team has denied leaking the video.
Steyer campaign spokesperson Sepi Esfahlani denied the accusation after the interview and told Fox News Digital that Porter is attempting to shift attention away from her own controversies.
"Tom has nothing to do with that video," Esfahlani said. "This is an attempt from Katie Porter to deflect from her past mistakes. Katie Porter only has one person to blame for her standing in the race, and it’s herself."
Porter also went after another Democratic candidate, Xavier Becerra, during the interview.
Porter also used the interview to attack Becerra, the former U.S. Health and Human Services secretary and California attorney general, over an unresolved corruption probe involving his former campaign account.
"The simple fact is Secretary Becerra cannot promise Californians that he will not be named as a co-conspirator in this corruption charge," Porter said.
Bash noted Becerra said "multiple times" he did nothing wrong.
Porter kept going.
"I do not have the facts here, but the people who are currently negotiating plea deals in Sacramento do," she said. "And if they implicate him, I have zero doubt that he will be indicted."
If you don't "have the facts," why are you even talking?

The Becerra team shot down her claim.
"Katie Porter is grasping at straws," the spokesperson said. "The FBI looked into this and found no wrongdoing by Xavier Becerra."
Please keep at it, Democrats; it's very edifying as to why we should not vote for any of you.
