No one can say that President Donald Trump hasn't given the Iranian regime every opportunity to make a deal.
He's given them multiple opportunities - at the same time, he's choking them off with the blockade and moving more forces into position.
However, he posted on social media about how the Iranian leadership was in disarray. In there, too, was an important message to the leadership, if they understood it.

Iran is having a very hard time figuring out who their leader is! They just don’t know! The infighting is between the “Hardliners,” who have been losing BADLY on the battlefield, and the “Moderates,” who are not very moderate at all (but gaining respect!), is CRAZY! We have total control over the Strait of Hormuz. No ship can enter or leave without the approval of the United States Navy. It is “Sealed up Tight,” until such time as Iran is able to make a DEAL!!! Thank you for your attention to this matter.
The message there is he's telling them he knows they're not really "moderates" - and if he thinks that, he knows the time for a deal is closing, and the time for more action may be on the way.

So how did they respond? In a typical miscalculating fashion.
The leaders who have sometimes been described as "moderate" in this whole drama - the President, Masoud Pezeshkian, the Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, and the Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, all posted or reposted the same thing on X within minutes of each other. (Note: their posts are linked on their names; they are in Farsi.)
In Iran, there are no radicals or moderates; we are all "Iranian" and "revolutionary," and with the iron unity of the nation and government, with complete obedience to the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, we will make the aggressor criminal regret his actions. One God, one leader, one nation, and one path; that path being the path to victory for Iran, dearer than life.
Now, they think that shows that they're unified and they're tough. I wonder if they were all told to do it by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Part of the problem is whether any of these three is even able to make a deal. At this point, they don't even know who their leader is, with another wild excuse just droppinng for why there are no pictures or videos of the Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei..

Who's Really in Charge in Iran and Why That's a Problem
Even as they were trying to send out this unified message, there were reports that Ghalibaf had resigned from the negotiating team. N12 News reported that.
There was no confirmation from Iran, and given he was involved in the tweeting, that would seem to go against that.
But the message that the leaders send with their response ultimately is: if there are no moderates, there is no sane person to deal with. That's ultimately the problem in dealing with Iran.
So that leads you to the likely conclusion that more military action may be incoming soon against the regime. And more U.S. forces will be arriving within the next couple of days.
Editor's Note: For decades, former presidents have been all talk and no action. Now, Donald Trump is eliminating the threat from Iran once and for all.
