We reported on the big announcement Kamala Harris said she would make on Thursday.
Some speculated it would be about the California governor's race. Some thought she might be making an early declaration of her intent to run in 2028.
But instead, it was a relaunch of her campaign X account, with a new name and reorientation. So there's even more cringe than what I told you about on Thursday.

They renamed it "Headquarters" and claimed it would be a "new Gen-Z led progressive content hub."
Welcome to Headquarters, the new Gen-Z led progressive content hub. pic.twitter.com/7EQyz3DFpd

She said:
So, Kamala HQ is turning into ‘Headquarters,’ and it’s where you can go online to get basically the latest of what’s going on, and also to meet and revisit with some of our great courageous leaders, be they elected leaders, community leaders, civic leaders, faith leaders, young leaders. I’m really excited about it. So stay engaged and I’ll see you out there. Thank you."
Now that's pretty funny, since she's 61 years old, and not Gen-Z.
The RNC reminded her of her comments about people in Gen Z.
The same woman who said young people "are stupid."

You can't make this up. 🤣 https://t.co/CF9pcHKfU1 pic.twitter.com/RicvSCkePB
Then, on top of that, people noticed something else — that the @ name on the account was initially "Headquarters_67." They appeared to be trying to appeal to kids who were into saying 6-7. That's definitely lame.
Journalist Chris Rufo wrote, "My children have informed me that ‘67’ is already old, tired, and cringe, so once again, Kamala is coming up short."
The bio whines that "Elon wouldn't give them @Headquarters" as an account name. Cry more.
If you go to the link in the bio, it appears to link to Kamala's Substack at this point, no greater website that touts whatever this Gen Z effort is supposed to be.
Pro tip: If you're going to launch a new "content hub" you might consider adding content to your hub at launch. https://t.co/GyBHu679PQ pic.twitter.com/yBcSwiJiwP

So exactly what content are you pitching there? There's not much of anything there except her old blog posts.
So emblematic of Kamala — word salad, but a whole lot of nothing.
On the account itself, it's attacking President Donald Trump. Yawn. So novel. Not.
Oh, and there's an anti-ICE post. So great job there, attacking federal law enforcement, Kamala. This is going to be fun — she's going to get tagged for every ridiculous post this account makes.
They're already backpedaling. They were mocked so much for the 6-7, they apparently changed it to 68.
This is hilarious, after getting destroyed on X for using the cringe worthy headquarters 67 team Kamala have already changed it to headquarters 68 😂😂 pic.twitter.com/JfxFfYOQrz

Except that, although it says 68 now, if you click on the tweet, for some reason, it flips back to 67.
How bad was it? Even CNN thought the 67 was past it and "cringe."
CNN just described the Kamala headquarters_67 account as cringe.

Finally some honesty from them for once. pic.twitter.com/XcsRRR7Mws
When even CNN is mocking you, you may have just failed.
