We covered Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and Trump official Stephen Miller going to Union Station to have lunch with the National Guard and thank them for their efforts to help prevent crime in Washington, D.C. They were met with protesters whom they handily dispensed with in great statements.
There was another video that encapsulated that twisted reaction from those on the left, as they yell at Vance and Hegseth as they go by in the station, curse at them, call them "Nazi," and shout to "Free D.C."
Warning for graphic language:
Democrats insanely scream at both VP Vance and Secretary Hegseth as they walk through Union Station in DC.

This further proves why the Democrats can never have power again.
Look at how they act. It’s ridiculous.pic.twitter.com/kBC9n777bl
Indeed, President Donald Trump and VP Vance are trying to "free D.C." from the grip of crime.
Vance and Hegseth pointed out a different protester at another point at the station who was booing.

"This is the guy who thinks people don't deserve law and order in their own community," Vance says. pic.twitter.com/5vK2Z2kXEP
Vance just demolished him as Hegseth laughed, "This is the guy who thinks people don't deserve law and order in their own community." Exactly. Who objects to finally doing something about crime?
Then let's juxtapose the reaction from the left with what the additional federal law enforcement and the National Guard are bringing. As we reported, the D.C. Police Union indicated that there was, in fact, a drop in violent crime over the time since the Trump administration's action started.
More law enforcement and National Guard presence is deterring crime, and it's not only that. This video brought another benefit. This is very cool.
🚨 NOW: National Guard troops are openly interacting with teens in DC’s Navy Yard, even letting them sit in Humvees

One of these teens said “last time I was here, there was a shootlng!”
I’m REALLY hoping the newfound law and order in DC will inspire kids to take a better path… pic.twitter.com/fb4Ome6rwW
Not only did the National Guard's presence make the area safer, but it also enabled local teenagers to interact with the Guard and see some inspirational young male examples, as well as some cool military hardware. They were even getting their pictures taken with the Guard members.
So on the one hand, you have screaming folks on the left; on the other, you have young Guard members not being fascists or terrorizing anyone, setting a positive example for youth.
These great soldiers are setting a fine example. Hopefully those young men and women they are talking to will take advantage of the military to get a jumpstart in life!

Our Guard troops are fantastic. https://t.co/Y60LGI7H7t
This is some great positive change.
