Tim Walz Kicks Off His Manly Man Tour at Football Game and Pheasant Hunt—but It Doesn't Go Well

As we reported, Barack Obama chastised young black men for not being supportive enough of Kamala Harris, insulting them for having their own opinions.

But in truth, it's not just young black men, but men of all ages and races who have an issue with Harris.

The campaign knows that. But then they delegated Tim Walz to go out and appeal to men.

Even Bill Maher mocked that effort.

Walz went to a football game at the school that he and his wife Gwen used to teach at in Mankato, Minnesota. Tim was a social studies teacher and a defensive coordinator for the football team.

But it didn't all go well. Walz got a very pointed message from some in the area. Former GOP Rep. Jeremy Munson did manage to get a little bit of a troll in on Walz. He and others commissioned a plane to fly over the stadium before the game with a banner that read “Bench Coach Walz – Trump 2024.”

Now it didn't fly over the game, likely because of security, but it did manage to fly over Mankato.

"Bench 'Coach" Walz,' it said, followed by "Trump 2024!"

Then on Saturday morning, Walz went out with some influencers and his daughter to join a pheasant hunt. Even MSNBC was calling it out for the blatant effort to appeal to men. Everyone knows they have a problem with men.

But this effort isn't going to make it. Instead he got mocked.

People asked where were the guns? Those didn't seem to be able to make the video. So is he trying to appeal to men while not offending the leftist gun-hater contingent? That's a neat trick. Apparently he can take out the pheasant purely with his own bombast and lies? Some made sure to tell him not to bring Dick Cheney along. Many also found it gross that he was pulling this kind of a move, given the anti-gun statements that Kamala Harris has made.

Nobody was buying it.

Somehow I don't think these kinds of photo-ops are going to convince even one man to flip for Tim Walz and Kamala Harris.
