We reported previously about some of the crazy protests in Washington, D.C., outside the White House by some chanting for Jihad and intifada and defacing national monuments with all kinds of graffiti.

But the police largely didn't seem to be reacting to stop it.

But it got even wilder.

You even had one of them holding up a bloody Biden face mask while another one behind him tried to light a small American flag on fire. The group then chanted, "Down, down with occupation," and chanted that they didn't want any "Zionists here."  Lovely people.

They even assaulted an unarmed National Park Service Ranger who was trying to stand between them and the monument. What a hero this guy was. He stood there, greatly outnumbered, as they threw things at him, including bottles. They chanted, "Piggy, piggy, oink, oink," and that ridiculous leftist chant, "Who do you protect, who do you serve?" They even chant, "F**k you, fascist!" But watch what he does.

He mocks them, taunting them to go on. Now that is a nice move and takes some cojones in the face of such a mob.

He and another man tried to tell them that they couldn't write on the monument, but the people just screamed at them, apparently thinking defacing monuments will "free Palestine." Pro tip, guys? It's not getting you what you want.

Now, they're ridiculous. It's a ranger, the guys who help you out and tell you where to go at National Parks. As T. Becket Adams, the program director of the National Journalism Center of Young America's Foundation, pointed out, this was a bit like picking on Smokey the Bear.

Calling the ranger a fascist while you're pelting him with bottles and apparently getting away with it is truly bizarre. They're committing an assault on a federal employee, and no one seems to give a darn, least of all them. Where are the Democrats to call out such behavior?

Are any of these activists going to suffer the consequences of their actions? I wouldn't bet on it. How many thousands of dollars is it going to take to try to repair the damage to the monuments? Is anyone concerned about what could be a threat meant to Biden?

At one point, U.S. Park Police did use pepper spray and tried to arrest one person, but the crowd intervened, screaming, "Let her go!" It appeared that they eventually let the person go without completing the arrest. There were no reports of any arrests at the time of that report on Saturday. It remains to be seen if any will be held to account.

Biden wasn't at the White House; he was still in France for the D-Day anniversary and state visit, embarrassing us there.
