What Gavin Newsom Has to Say About Joe Biden Just Might Make You Laugh Out Loud

Maybe it's just me, but every time I hear California Gov. Gavin Newsom, I can't help thinking that he sounds (and frankly looks like) a slick car salesman no one with a brain cell would ever buy a car from.

He also has the nickname, "Hair Gel," in part because of that slickness.

I don't know how anyone could believe anything he has to say, and then he has horrible policies on top of that. But the car salesman is aiming for higher office, hence the reason for the debate with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. But that didn't work out very well, as DeSantis made him look silly, as we reported.

Highlights included DeSantis thumping Newsom with the story about Newsom's father-in-law moving to Florida and telling DeSantis that Florida was better governed. DeSantis also skewered Newsom on things like education and pointing out the poop problem in San Francisco.

Now, here comes your laugh of the day, courtesy Newsom responding to MSNBC's Alex Wagner about whether he or not he wants to run for president. I have to say I laughed at the ridiculousness of every word of this.

"Who in their mind would want to run when you have someone of such esteem as our incumbent president of the United States with a record of accomplishments, and a man of character, a man of decency," Newsom declared. "I'm old school, Talk about loyalty. I'll go to the ends of the Earth for this guy, I really would."

Esteem? Even the Democrats and Trump-hating Republicans who might vote for Biden because they don't want Trump would never describe Biden as "someone of such esteem."

What accomplishments does he have? And what's all this about "character?" I'm not even sure I can keep up with the number of falsehoods Biden has told, the false stories he's made up, and the attacks he's made on millions of Americans. Never mind the Biden family scandals.

It's stunning that Newsom kept a straight face while saying something like this. It says something about how shameless he is. Clearly, he's desperately waiting with bated breath in the hopes he somehow would have a chance at the big job.

But perhaps the best part of the clip is Alex Wagner, who puts her pen in front of her mouth. I'm willing to bet that's because she's trying to stifle or cover up a laugh.

Now, no one could truly think quietly what Newsom said out loud. But if anyone did think what Newsom said is true, it should disqualify them from holding any office, much less that of President. They're obviously not competent.

Many people, like actress Gina Carano, thought it was hilarious. She thought it somehow had to be fake.
