This new report might be hard for you to believe if you know Joe Biden.
According to the report, in the wake of the attack on Israel on October 7, Israel was planning a preemptive strike on Hezbollah in Lebanon because of intel they had that they were going to invade as well. Indeed the report says that it was Oct. 11 and the planes were in the air waiting for orders, but somehow a discussion with Biden made Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu call them back and call it off. The U.S. told Israel their intel doubted an attack was coming and they were concerned about the war expanding into other regions.
The report says Biden talked to Netanyahu for about 45 minutes, but it took about six hours until Netanyahu called it off.
However, Netanyahu is shooting down that report.
But Netanyahu on Sunday denied the claims that Biden talked him out of attacking Hezbollah, saying Israel makes its own decisions and is not influenced by the advice of foreign nations.
“I have seen erroneous reports to the effect that the U.S. prevented, and is preventing, us from operational actions in the region. This is incorrect. Israel is a sovereign state,” Netanyahu said. “Our decisions in the war are based on our operational considerations.
“They are not dictated by external pressure. The decision on how to use our forces is an independent decision of the Israel Defense Forces and nobody else,” he added.
Biden was asked about a "preemptive strike" by a reporter on Saturday, but the reporter said "Hamas" rather than Hezbollah. We wrote about that and how Biden got snippy with another reporter in the same interchange with reporters.

BIDEN: "I had a long talk with Netanyahu today and it's a private conversation." pic.twitter.com/XPvEmMI64y
A question of a preemptive strike re: Hamas doesn't make any sense because anything after October 7 isn't a "preemptive strike." Biden should have said that, but he didn't; he wasn't for talking either way. So much for transparency and honesty with the American public.
So I have a question here: four days after such a dastardly attack, does anyone think feeble Joe Biden would be able to marshal up enough coherence and moxie to say all this to Netanyahu? I'm not sure I believe this report. On top of that, this report comes at a time when Biden desperately needs to appear successful at something, given that his approval numbers are in the basement.

If this report came from the Biden team as its source, it has very little credibility.
Then if it was true, the lack of action left Hezbollah in place, and now Hezbollah has been attacking Israel repeatedly on its northern border on an almost daily basis. The attacks have destroyed 50 percent of the homes in one town, and have forced 80,000 to evacuate.

Hezbollah is dragging Lebanon into a disastrous war that we don't want. The time is NOW for the world to act to implement UN Security Council Resolution 1701 and push Hezbollah away from our border. #BackOff pic.twitter.com/2Bfg7qrqRS

Just like Hamas they too are supported by Iran, whom Biden helped by freeing up millions. So if the report were true, leaving terrorists in place is par for the course with Biden and he once again was probably wrong.
Israel may end up having to do a more intensive attack on Hezbollah anyway because Hezbollah continues to attack.
