The Walls Are Closing In: WH Scrambles and Flees When Asked About Hunter's Firm Funneling Money to Joe

As we reported earlier, the House Oversight Committee announced they have evidence of monthly payouts from Hunter Biden's firm, Owasco P.C., amounts to Joe Biden.

House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) said that they can now add this claim — that Joe never got any direct money — to the long "list of lies" told by Joe Biden and his team on this matter.

This wasn’t a payment from Hunter Biden’s personal account but an account for his corporation  that received payments from China and other shady corners of the world.

At this moment, Hunter Biden is under an investigation by the Department of Justice for using Owasco PC for tax evasion and other serious crimes.

And based on whistleblower testimony, we know the Justice Department made a concerted effort to prevent investigators from asking questions about Joe Biden.

I wrote last week about a new bank record examined by Catherine Herridge that raised questions for a money laundering investigator involving Owasco and the threat of China targeting the children of politicians.

So what is the White House's response to this new bombshell report from Comer?

Reporter Philip Wegmann of Real Clear Politics pushed the question to White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre at the White House briefing on Monday.

The White House has said repeatedly that Joe Biden and his son "were never in business together," Wegmann noted, yet, according to bank records obtained by the Oversight Committee, Owasco set up direct payments to Joe. Did Joe Biden accept the payments? Wegmann asked Jean-Pierre. Why would there be such an arrangement if they weren't in business together or if there was a "wall of separation?" he queried.

KJP immediately knew that was the third rail if she tried to answer. Her first excuse was that she hadn't seen the report. And we're supposed to believe that and not think that's a dodge? Not too many are going to believe that. But then she tried the second dodge — that Wegmann was going to have to ask the White House Counsel's Office. Then, the third dodge was fleeing. Karine Jean-Pierre shut her briefing book, and she was out of there, quickly fleeing the room. Likely, she didn't have a credible answer for any of it, and she wasn't even going to try rather than dig the hole deeper.

But running just emphasizes they have no real defense, and it only makes things look worse. They're not going to get out of it that easily.
