Biden Shows the Light Is 'Out' but No One's Home With His Take on Thomas Edison

We reported earlier how Jill Biden – Joe’s primary handler – came on the run to rescue him from reporters when he was asked about his own beliefs as a Catholic regarding abortion. Jill tried to pull him out of there, but Biden managed to duck the question, saying, “I don’t want to get in a debate with you on theology, but you know, well anyway, I’m not going to make a judgment for other people.” But, he wasn’t asked about other people; he was asked about his view. But here it was, Ash Wednesday, and he avoided the question.

They both went to an event Wednesday at the University of Wisconsin-Superior to push the infrastructure law he had signed. But even there on the stage, before Biden began speaking, there was evidence of the effort to cover up his failures. Biden has been using “Build Back Better” as his slogan and the name of his bill. But the stage showed the new catchphrase they’re trying to sell — since his Build Back Better bill crashed like the Hindenburg and isn’t being resuscitated. His event backdrops now say “Building a Better America.”

Jill Biden spoke first, and claimed Joe was all about trying to bring people together: “Things are so much better. You were right to put your faith in Joe Biden a year ago.”

Seriously? Where are they better? How are they better? Certainly not in this country, where Americans are being crushed by Biden’s inflation. And the gas prices – already high – are going to skyrocket even more with what’s going on with Russia.

The current national average price of gas is $3.61 a gallon, up 26 cents from February and roughly a dollar from a year ago, according to data from AAA. In U.S. states with the priciest fuel, motorists already are paying nearly $4.50 a gallon, according to price tracker GasBuddy.

Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, tweeted on Monday that the average gas price in some U.S. cities will reach $5 a gallon “in the next couple of weeks.”

Either Jill’s a desperate liar, or she’s as deluded as her husband. Maybe she means things are better for her because she has more power. But, the Biden team has no intention of doing anything to get back the energy independence we had under President Donald Trump.

Speaking of which, not only did Jill tell us a ridiculous untruth, but her husband seems to have forgotten the name of Thomas Edison. Here he is, talking about the “purchase of the largest ever purchase” of electric locomotives at the same plant that the “guy who turned on our lights” built a factory.

You know the guy. Like you know the thing. How do you forget Thomas Edison’s name? This is where Biden’s brain is at this point. Unfortunately, part of the problem with Biden is that the ‘light is out and no one is home.’
