Kamala Embarrasses Herself Badly With Explanation of Situation in Ukraine

I have to admit it’s hard to top Joe Biden for incoherence. But if there’s anyone who comes close, it’s Kamala Harris. In that sense, they are a perfect pair.

We’ve seen some amazing examples from Harris. There was this instant classic word salad.

Then, as we reported on Monday, there was this little bit of maximum cringe that looked like a swipe at Biden.

When you say you “got what you asked for,” it’s generally negative. And no, we didn’t ask for all the inflation and incompetence that Biden and Harris have brought.

But now we have another entrant in the Kamala Harris “special moments” sweepstakes. She appeared as a guest on “The Morning Hustle,” where she was asked to explain the Russia-Ukraine conflict in “laymen’s terms.” If you thought that she was going to offer some insightful analysis, you would be wrong.

“So, Ukraine is a country in Europe. It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine. So basically, that’s wrong.”

This sounds like a kindergarten-level understanding of the situation. Was she trying to talk down to Americans listening to the show? Or, in her position, is this all she can offer for supposed insight on the subject? Either way, we are in trouble with her.

She continued along this same track when she was asked about the conflict with Joe Biden over potential sanctions that they had threatened Russia with before the invasion of Ukraine. Joe Biden said after the invasion that “No one expected the sanctions to prevent anything from happening.” Yet his team — including Harris — had been saying that the sanctions were supposed to deter Putin. Indeed, Kamala said she thought the threat of sanctions would deter him (they did not). So they asked her about that on the show as well.

Once again, she responded as though Americans wouldn’t understand what a “deterrent” was and compared it to a parent instructing a child. Not exactly the way that any competent person would conduct foreign policy or deal with other countries. Plus she didn’t explain away the conflict. Indeed, she reiterated that she thought it would be a deterrent. She was wrong.

We already have Biden talking down to Americans acting like they don’t understand how happy they should be under him because they are “psychologically” upset. We also had House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suggesting that Americans were just ignorant of all Biden’s achievements — explaining why they were panning him in the polls — that they needed to be told about all the achievements.

They have no idea what they are doing and they can’t honestly justify it to anyone. So that’s why it comes out as just a mass of confusion or something devoid of any information.
